Tape-gagged on screen, male is in same scenario, but not in any shots with the female. Some good closeups. She tips the chair over and smashes a bottle and quickly gets free. |

Kate O'Mara Record number: 521 Title: The Avengers (1961) Medium: TV Series Actress: Linda Thorson, Kate O'Mara Description: Episode: "Stay Tuned" (6.21) The enemy has brainwashed Steed and planted a post-hypnotic suggestion in his brain telling him to kill Mother. In the last half, Tara is captured and is tied to a chair and tightly gagged with a dark cleave. She watches Steed from behind a two-way mirror, moaning and struggling the whole time, the tight gag cutting her cheeks until Steed is knocked out. Then Tara's gag is removed, and eventually she breaks free and overpowers Lisa (O'Mara), one of the bad guys. The next time we see Tara she has returned the favor to Lisa. Lisa is tied to a chair and cleave gagged with a dark cloth, moaning and struggling as well. Tara overpowers another bad guy, and prevents Steed from killing Mother. This is a long, classic scene, with a lot of emoting, moaning, struggling, and close-ups. Kate is wearing a mini-dress & heels. Classic line from Kate to Linda, just before Linda overpowers Kate. "I'm going to tie your hands so tight, your fingers will turn blue!" |

| The Black Canary has been bound and gagged the most of all female DC Comics characters. Her being gagged by her captor is necessitated by the nature of her power, the sonic scream that emanates from her mouth. Does anyone know which female Marvel Comics character has been bound and gagged the most? The only one I can think of who has a power similar to the Canary's is Siryn. |

| My deal is mostly for ropework to look like it could really hold the captive. So, wondering if people can recommend movies and tv eps where the roping is done really well. Gaggage not all that important to me - don't mind it certainly, but more about the ropes. Thanks. |

| I caught the middle of a scene involving Felicia Day in "Red: Werewolf Hunter" on SyFy that's surprisingly not in the database. She has her hands tied above her head with rope, to the point she's stretched out pretty far. Unfortunately I missed some of the scene, as I only turned over there because something else was on a commercial, so I don't know many details. She eventually gets cut down by a guy. |

I can't think of any other ones at the moment that were constantly restrained. I remember Emma Frost was kidnapped and bound & gagged (which is totally useless considering her powers) a few issues of her short lived mini "Emma Frost". |

I am not up on my super heroes but isn't there another super heroine who gets tied & gagged alot? She seems to get lunped in with Black Canary alot. She looks sorta like a magician if I recall correctly, name escapes me though |

However, neither of them has been bound and gagged more times than Mary Batson a.k.a. Mary Marvel. I don't think there's anyone in the Marvel universe that even comes close to those three. Black Widow has been bound and gagged 4 or 5 times that I know of. |

I always thought the ropes on Charisma Carpenter in the "Parting Gifts" episode of Angel looked pretty good to me. I also think any scene with zip ties, shown behind the back of course, is pretty realistic. I've used those in my adventures and think they are the most effective in tying up a sexy Chica. |
