Thursday April 03 00:02:42 2014 Criminal Minds |
Tonight's episode had a guest star cleave-gagged on the floor, hands tied behind the back about 13 minutes into the episode. Unhappy end. Also, in the I-know-it's-not-30-years-ago-but-I'm-mentioning-it-for-completists, Adrienne Barbeau is tied to a chair about half way through the episode. |

Andrienne was tied to a chair (swamp thing) and a post (fantasy island) nearly 30 years ago. What she has never done is been tied and gagged. One of the few actresses of her time never to have been gagged. If one thinks about it, nearly every other actress from the 60s, 70s, and 80s was gagged at one time or another. The exceptions, like Raquel Welsh, are rare. |

Thursday April 03 02:09:07 2014 Looking for a scene |
Does anyone remember a scene from the 60's or 70's where a woman is wrapped up in carpet and cleave gagged. She is left standing up and there may be a putz with her in the same predicament? |

> > nada. We see a video of her being held hostage. No > gags, > > no bonds, nothing. Not even a handgag. That is not true. She yells help me please into the camera then a gloved hand handgags her and letters appear on the screen "how much is the Queen worth to you? " or something like that. She kinda mumbles and whimpers into it. About 8.5 minutes in. |

A couple other unfortunate exceptions are (rather surprisingly) Jacyln Smith and Farrah Fawcett. Although I maintain that back in the time it was airing, I turned on an episode of that Farrah Fawcett/Ryan O'Neal comedy "Good Sports" right after the commercial break and in the episode some guy was tied & gagged with a scarf, and when I turned it on both Ryan and Farrah has these scarves around their necks that sure didn't look to me like they matched in any way the outfits they were wearing and I have always thought that before I turned it on Farrah had been tied & gagged, but the episode has never aired again, episodes of the obscure show don't seem to be able to be found, and no one has ever been able to comfirm or deny it> I'd really lke it if someone could actually confirm or deny this, as it's kinda bugged me for the past 20 years or so! I assume no one here has ever seen it, or if they have she was NOT tied & gagged, or it would have been mentioned long long ago, but you never know, it could just be so elusive none of us have seen it. |

Thursday April 03 11:30:37 2014 Local Commercials? |
Anyone recall any damsels in full treatment scenes in local commercials. I prefer scenes that are light hearted escapist in nature than gritty realistic situations. Anyways, local business commercials tend to be cheesy so if there's a scene then its likely to be in this manner. One example was the credit services commercial in Spanish where people are shown as hostages to their debt. A couple of good looking Latinas are shown in the group of hostages in the background tied up hands behind back and feet together with square strips of ducttape over mouths. Anyone else have these local gems. |

Does it need to be local? Apart from that, the Zalando Bank commercial is one to fit the profile quite nicely. |

No, not really, I just was thinking local TV commercials b/c there is some added bonus when the scene is somewhat rare I feel. I checked out this commercial...nice find! Thanks! |

Did I miss any? That's true, it's been an awesome season. I've started to catch up on editing the US TV scenes from the last few weeks, and boy have there been a buttload of them. Thanks to everyone who have posted alerts. And a quick reminder to try to include as much information as possible when announcing a new scene. It's not so bad if I'm on top of things, but scrolling through the last few weeks and trying to identify each episode based on the time and wording of the post, and cross-referencing it with IMDB is very time-consuming. The ones I know about are: Criminal Minds 9.19 'The Edge of Winter' Following, the 2.11 'Freedom' From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series 1.01 'The Pilot' From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series 1.02 'Blood Runs Thick' From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series 1.03 'Mistress' Mentalist, the 6.15 'White as the Driven Snow' NCIS 11.19 'Crescent City: Part II' NCIS:LA 5.19 'Spoils of War' Supernatural 9.17 'Mother's Little Helper' Let me know if I missed any. NCIS 11.19 aired last night and hasn't been mentioned previously. No bonds, but a great chloroforming of a woman in a military uniform. Jackrabbit ****************************************** Thursday April 03 19:41:12 2014 Re: Weird What was the show that you think didn't get the proper amount of attention? NCIS LOS ANGELRS ***************************************** I'm counting six posts mentioning the scene, though strangely, nobody mentioned the second scenen in the episode with Nina Nelson as as Afghani girl captured by the rescue team and briefly cleave gagged while carried over over one's shoulder trekking through the desert. Aside from that, personally I didn't care much for either scene. Nina was wearing a hajib and her gag was too loose, and Ruah not only had a loose gag, but a bloody nose. |

Victor Harris (Greg Bryk) leads Melanie Pearson (Matheson), a quite pretty female, to a room in a house that has a lot of torture instruments. Melanie is white, blonde, and wears a white tank top and some type of black miniskirt or shorts. The girl is led to rack, blindfold is removed, female climbs onto the rack in a rather sexy scene, male stretches female in a sexy and semi-consensual way that ends suddenly when Elizabeth (Swanson), Victor's wife, comes home. Victor is startled and cranks the rack's controls too much, so that Melanie is injured but survives. Victor uses the blindfold as a stuff gag on Melanie at the end of the scene. Total scene time: blindfold walking about two minutes and on the rack for about five minutes. Rack fans will really like this scene. Most of the camera work is medium and close up. The scene is really played well. Second scene begins about 63 minutes in. Melanie, wearing a gray tank top and blue pants, is tied to the bed with silk scarves and has a black stuff gag. She freaks out because her captor is none other than Victor. Most of the camera work in this scene is from Melanie's belly looking up towards her head. It's about a three minute scene and the damsel frees herself because she was tied with scarves. (Lesson learned? Use rope or steel to restrain your damsels!) The scene isn't too bad, but it is a huge disappointment compared to the rack scene earlier on. Third scene begins about 75 minutes in. This victim this time is Elizabeth. She is also white and blonde and wears a sleeveless black dress. She sports an over the mouth cloth gag and is standing with her hands chained with manacles just ever so slightly above her head causing her elbows to be bent out. Observant kidnappers will notice that the metal manacles are too loose for her wrists, but the scene works anyway. The camera angles are mostly medium shots with only a few close ups of the damsel's face, but not of her hands. Victor forces Elizabeth's boyfriend to lay on the rack and once the man is attached, the wife is set free from the arms over head restraint, but she continues to wear the shackles while she is forced to watch her boyfriend being racked to the point his arms are yanked off, (in quite a disgusting scene, might I add.) All in all, this movie is a feast for arms over head fans. There are three good scenes, two with stuff gags and one with an over the mouth gag. |
