Crisis, and Believe, which had a minor scene with Jamie Chung this week, have both been pulled due to low ratings. Not yet decided if they'll burn off the remaining episodes after sweeps ends. |

Was hoping NBC would just give up and air them out. But the ratings were terrible. Rachael Taylor is becoming quite the show killer. 3 shows in 3 years and all canceled quickly. |

Tuesday May 06 14:38:39 2014 Happy Valley. UK broadcast. |
Don't forget episode 2 of this grim police drama featuring a b&g hostage tonight at 9 pm. Possibility of a lady cop also being abducted next week, but it sounds as if something worse happens. |

Remember reading in Bondage Life about 30 years ago about a local female tv reporter left b/g in a van to test public reaction to crime-anybody remember this?-maybe a recording was done |

A redhead named Carmel Cafiero at a local Miami TV station (NBC, I think) staged scenes where she would appear tied up in public: the idea being to see if anybody cared enough to untie her (there having been a recent case in Miami where a woman was attacked, her arm broken and left with her hands tied behind her back...and no one would help her). As I recall Carmel tried hands in front (a little fake looking because she could have pulled off her gag) -- and I recall one man saying he didn't untie her because something didn't "look right" (probably the ineffective bondage). She did hands behind and gagged honking a car horn too as I recall. I don't know for sure, but I bet their ratings took off that week or so that she did this. (I checked Google for her name spelling and there are other hits...LinkedIn, etc.) so I guess she's still around. But back then (60s?) this redhead with her hands tied behind her back trying to get attention...well, it did! |
