The same thing happened with the preview for "The List," on the X Files, IIRC. The preview showed the handgag and you could hear a mmpphhff! In the actual episode, although we got a lot of heavy breathing under the handgag, there weren't any mmppffhhs at all--a rarity for Gillian Anderson, as she is one of the most vociferous of the mmmpphhffers. Speaking of Gillian, I know many of us decried her recent scene, but I for one was happy to once again hear her mmppffs and see her wild, rolling eyes over the "gag." Brought back good memories of the X Files. |
