| The Stephen King book is getting a film adaptation. Plot: "Husband and wife like to get kinky in bed. They especially like bondage. So they go on vacation to a secluded cabin in western Maine to get their extra freak on. Husband handcuffs wife to bed post. The game gets a little out of hand. Wife defends herself and accidentally kills husband. Now wife is all alone in cabin in the woods with no one to help her and a dead husband on the floor." There's a cool fan-art drawing of the book's premise at the link, with the damsel handcuffed to a bed (warning: blood on her wrists). |

| There are many DID scenes where one single captor leaves large groups of multiple damsels bound and gagged single handedly. I always wonder how realistic that aspect is. One scene that comes to mind as an example of this is the scene from Fresh Prince of Bel-Air "Christmas Show". A single robber tricks the family into letting him come in and next thing we know he leaves Tatyana Ali, Karyn Parsons and the 3 guys tied up with Christmas lights and tape gagged. It just seems like a solo captor would have a hard time doing that if he was facing a 5 on 1 disadvantage, even if he did have a weapon. I feel like someone in the captor's position would have a hard time keeping an entire group of 5 at bay when he could only focus on 1, maybe 2 captives at a time while tying them up. Anybody else ever wonder how that part of this works since the details of the group tie-up usually take place off camera? |

While he was tying up one of the girls the other could have took off running and screaming. And along the same lines you have scenes where a smaller and weaker person ties up a bigger person like in the tied up babysitter scenes. |

Yes I have. While one could indeed compel one captive to tie up his/her companions, there is the trouble with a solo captor. Namely, you need two hands to tie somebody up, which would require said captor to set aside the weapon while doing the tying. Unless the captive is rendered unconscious, it would be hard to tie one up with a struggle. |

| Nothing special on Under the Dome. Pretty much everything that was in the promo. Damsel is driving with another character, kidnapper is standing in the middle of the road forcing the driver to crash into a tree, kidnapper removes driver and drives away with damsel. Next see her wrists tied behind her back, nice close up of her hands bound behind her with rope. Her and the kidnapper talk while she is tied to the chair. No feet or gag. Lasts on and off for several minutes. |
