Re: Short films
Thanks guys. Another quick question (I think this one's for Brian or Gagster).

One thing that I suspect we'd all agree would be helpful would be for the IMDb's primary title for a work always to appear exactly as one of the "aka" title entries. (Ideally as the first one, but that doesn't seem so important.) My self-interest here is that my automated matching simply won't work without that exact match -- too much potential for false positives -- but just in general it seems like a good idea.

I'd be happy to help with this, but the problem I'm encountering is that it's a pain in the ass to manually change the titles for 40 episodes of the same series. Would there happen to be any tools on the back end that would allow me to submit a table of title mappings to you guys, and have them all run at once? Something like

Heiter bis tödlich: Alles KlaratAlles Klara aka Heiter bis tödlich: Alles Klara
Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.tAgents of S.H.I.E.L.D. aka Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

(I've already done these two.)

Re: Short films
Whoops, those are supposed to be tab (backslash-t) characters between the title pairs above, but it didn't come through.

Re: Short films
There's nothing preexisting, so I'd have to create something.

Yeah, I got the same. I should just remove the HTML
capability. Probably later upgrades interfere with
that working.

Yeah, don't want to ask you to do that. I can always just add those matches manually for now, which will be a lot faster than trying to change hundreds of entries, but keep a list for a later date.

Might make sense since nobody ever uses it. Or I can just remember to type backslash-backslash-t next time. Hmm, let's see if that works: \t

[2127] The Seven Secrets of Sumuru (1969) aka Rio 70 aka Future Women
The entry is duplicated in entry 15653, which is more detailed
