| Not sure if the version of this movie being shown now on the over-the-air This TV network in the USA contains all of its scenes but I'm more inclined to believe the scenes are as I saw them and the descriptions as written here are incorrect. First, there are no bikini-wearing blondes shown being abducted and bound in the broadcast version. The first bondage scene (which pops up after a commercial and thus may be truncated) shows Maria Rohm and the actress who is later shown whipped (who isn't identified but whom I DON'T believe is Diane Bond) tied in the manner described but Rohm is wearing a lacy black dress and her companion is clad in a filmy blue number over a barely visible bra and panties (she's stripped to her underwear for the whipping, which might have lead to the confusion). Rohm is a blonde but the other actress is a rather European looking (and sounding) brunette. The original author also missed Ann Smyrner being chloroformed when she's abducted in the movie's second half. The whipping is carried out in front of her to get her to divulge something to her captors (this version of the movie is so butchered to make for the commercials and my signal reception wan't the best, so I'm not sure what they wanted her to tell them). You can clearly see, however, that the victim is the same girl tied up with Rohm in the earlier scene. Whether there are other scenes in the original theatrical release or on home video releases of this movie that are missing from what I saw should be clarified-and the identification of all the actresses besides Rohm in those scenes confirmed. |
