| Bears mentioning that when Fien (Ms. van de Kelder's character) is tied to the post, she is secured not only by her hands zip-tied behind but by her cloth gag, which is also tied around the post, and by strips of black tape (or leather or rubber) wrapped around her forehead and her throat, binding them to the post also. I think it is the tape around her throat that chokes her, not the gag. Altogether astounding scene for mainsteam fare. I'm gathering Fien is one of the detectives in the series; her transformation from tough cop to weeping victim is pretty intense. |
