...for Ayoka Dorsey's "buckle-gag" scene (I don't know if that's what the apparatus would really have been called, but it seems appropriate) in "Beloved"-and it appears someone nuked it. Would the nuker care to explain why?
Just wondering. |

old entry:
Record number: 5379 Title: Stories of the Century Medium: TV Series Actress: Mary Castle Description: Episode: "The Dalton Gang" (1.9) Mid-50s western featuring the exploits of railroad detective Matt Clark (Jim Davis). In this episode, the Daltons (Fess 'Daniel Boone' Parker, Robert 'Lassie Bray' and Myron 'I'm always a thug' Healey) turn in their badges and ride the outlaw trail, kidnapping series regular Frankie Adams (Castle) in the process. Reference: Brent Smith's tape indexes. Most of the scenes on these videos are of the 'bound and gagged' variety, but let the renter/taper beware. New entry: Record number: 5379 Title: Stories of the Century (1954) aka Legends of the Old West Medium: TV Series Actress: Mary Castle Description: Episode: "The Dalton Gang" (1.9) Mid-50s western featuring the exploits of railroad detective Matt Clark (Jim Davis). In this episode, the Daltons (Fess 'Daniel Boone' Parker, Robert 'Lassie Bray' and Myron 'I'm always a thug' Healey) turn in their badges and ride the outlaw trail. At the five minute mark of the episode (with no ads) Matt discovers one of the Dalton boys has replaced series regular Frankie Adams (Castle) at the telegraph office. Another gang member pistol whips him and makes their getaway. Meanwhile, we see Frankie in a back room, tied to a chair and detective gagged with a bandanna. Some nice close-ups, and some half-hearted reaction shots and struggling. Matt regains consciousness and unties her and ungags her soon after. Frankie walks out of the room with the bandanna still around her neck. The scene lasts about forty seconds. |
