Record number: 4393
Title: Street Hawk Medium: TV Series Actress: Belinda Montgomery Description: Unknown episode A very cute damsel gets abducted right after an aerobics lesson, thus giving the producers an excuse to put her in that sexy 80s lycra outfit. She's tied up wrists and ankles in the back of a car. Several close-ups. Later, during her rescue, we get to see her hopping out of the car in the same predicament. No gag ------------------------- Re #4393, my recollection was the damsel figure displayed in Lycra was Kristen Meadows, rather than Belinda J. Montgomery. After awakening in the car's back seat, because her captors tied her wrists in front she was able to maneuver her way into the car's front seat, turn on the ignition key, and drive off (both hands at the 12 oçlock position on the steering wheel -- what would her Drivers ed instructor have said?). After Street Hawk comes to the rescue in the ensuing car chase, she hops out of the car and he remarks Äwesome driving!" According to IMDB.com, Belinda Montgomery appeared in the Street Hawk "Murder is a Novel Idea" episode(1.10). |

"Re #4393, my recollection was the damsel figure displayed in Lycra was Kristen Meadows, rather than Belinda J. Montgomery. After awakening in the car's back seat, because her captors tied her wrists in front" Hands in front. Got it. As the Editors will tell you, this series entries have been disputed for awhile now. Have a look at this and see if it helps you recall for sure? Perhaps finally sort this out for us Thanx Episode: "Fire on the Wing" (1.6) Guest Cast: Jeannie Wilson, Raymond Singer, Clu Gulager, Tige Andrews, Kristen Meadows & Joe Burns. "A series of arson attacks at six different factories make Jesse and Norman doubt about their fortuity. Yet, when they set out to investigate, they are both completely baffled by the fact that the detonator responsible for each of the incidents is untraceable." "Murder is a Novel Idea" (1.10) Guest Cast: Steven Edwards, Don Hoo & Belinda Montgomery. "Jesse helps an Authoress to solve a murder commited years earlier. The writer, (another old friend of Jesse's) is about to release a book which supposedly incriminates those responsible, but only puts her in danger since the killers now need to get rid of the authoress and her book." Episode: "The Arabian" (1.11) Guest Cast: Barbara Stock "Jesse competes with a beautiful and intelligent Insurance Agent when they investigate a horse switching scheme and a murder of a stable hand." And here's the other entry Record number: 4185 Title: Street Hawk Medium: TV Series Actress: Barbara Stock Description: Unknown episode This short-lived mid-80s series concerned a motorcycle cop who drives a super secret motorcycle with incredible capabilities. Think Knight Rider on two wheels. Anywho, in one unknown episode, a bad guy lashes this lovely damsel's wrists behind her back. |

When the attacks don't rattle the owner, one villain says "Let's hit him closer to home" and they kidnap the daughter when she's walking on the street (the old grab-handgag-put her in the car routine). The cute damsel was definitely Kristen Meadows. |

Now that I think about it, "Let's hit him closer to home" meant an arson attack on the owner's home. After that didn't work, the villains kidnapped the daughter.
I watched the whole episode just waiting for the daughter to be kidnapped (obvious plot device). |

Think Knight Rider on two wheels. Anywho, in one unknown episode, a bad guy lashes this lovely damsel's wrists behind her back. ------------ Hmm, I wish I could be of more help here, but I'll admit that remembering the storylines of "Street Hawk" episodes was not a primary usage of my internal RAM. However, images of Kristen Meadows in a bright Lycra outfit writhing to get from the back seat to the driver's seat, and bunny-hopping out of a car would be. :-) I don't recall a Barbara Stock scene in Street Hawk. I do recall her handcuffed wrists-behind scene in "Legmen", which is already in the Database. |

For sure it's Ms. Meadows. I also recall the episode and the arson attacks were done by dropping a petrol bomb or something via hanglider (hence the ep title).
The DB entry should mention that she's handgagged with nice mmmphing when dragged into the car. |

Understand it hard unless got entire ep on tape, which most here don't. You helped sort one, which helps alot here. Thanx > I don't recall a Barbara Stock scene Heard before, same with Belinda. Now possible Belinda may been connected to the wrong ep huh? |

Now possible Belinda may been connected to the wrong ep huh? ----------- I just checked Bondage Life's "Bound for Hollywood", and it does list Barbara Stock's hands-tied-behind scene. I just didn't remember earlier today. I've added to the Database a Joanna Kerns chair-tie scene from a "Street Hawk" episode. The guest stars (and the possibility for a DiD scene) were the reason for watching "Street Hawk". |

The AKA situation didn't really occur to me until I ran the actress extraction routine. I knew about alternate names of course, but not the substitution for extended chars. > > I can > > just process the name (twice for umlauts), then enter > > the aliases. > > Sounds good. Somehow I hadn't expected you to put so much > work into it. I should know better by now. It's really not that much extra work to do the substitutions, we'll just have to assemble a table of extended characters. The trickier part is assembling all the aliases and the main actress name. That's what I was starting to do. The next pass of the tool will print out all actress names and what I have as aliases, without the scene titles. Then we can look at them. By the I have put the driver for the script in the editors folder (see link below) so you run it and get the latest output to reflect and corrections or updates. > > I wouldn't bother changing titles right now. > Shouldn't be too difficult to follow that advice. We do need to fix up the actual errors uncovered, like: Odd size name: Monique Parent. Claire Wilson and the ones that need to be moved to Unknown: Odd size name: possibly Sharry Eckerd and/or J. J. Mantia |

Frank J's list has Belinda Montgomery for the other, which is probably where that mis-ID started. Things from his lists tend to get propagated (or used to when he was trading/selling). |
