This page is for posting links to online streaming video, Youtube and things like that. The rules are somewhat looser than Discussion. You can post and discuss mainstream and related amateur video. Do not post clips from commercial videos. It's usually not that hard to tell the difference.

I remember this scene from around 1986 or 1987. M. Reeves and a character named Melissa were tied back to back while being held hostage. I think the hostage-taker was the fellow who played Les Nessman on "Wkrp." On the show, he threatened the girls because he wanted his son to get a heart transplant. It's definitely a whole different plotline from the red-teddy one. |

| What program or codec pack should I get for .mkv files to get thumbnails? Had Divx, and now VLC but neither create thumbnails for those type vids. VLC has smooth playback, but their file icon is an orange traffic cone with white swirls. |

I would suggest a default installation of that. It's a bit clunky & most of the settings may not make any sense to you, but it should work once it's done. Others might suggest ffdshow & skipping a bulky codec pack altogether, but that option is very user-unfriendly for those who just want to play a video & get on with things. Whatever you do, DON'T try & use the CoreAVC codec: it plays havoc with thumbnails, and the only reason I use it is because it seems to be the fastest & smoothest-running H.264 decoder around. |

It's a blinkie. The Hope character gets free, is chased into an enclosed area by a female captor, and the captor emerges cleave-gagged with her hands behind her. Apparently Hope gets recaptured and retied/gagged moments later, but none of that's captured by the camera. It's a neat little twist I've never seen before (maybe the director's one of us?), but it goes by in a flash. That said, what a nice, thick cleave on Hope, and the camerawork is pretty good as well. One of the better Urinetown scenes I've seen. |

| Not sure if this has already been posted.... I watched a re-run of last night's Black Mirror today which was shown on Channel 4 in the UK - the programme was an offbeat black comedy/drama regarding the fictional kidnap of a British princess. In the first few minutes a video is shown of a ransom demand where she speaks to the camera, her arms appear tied behind her but nothing is shown. After about 22 minutes or so, there is a brief scene where the princess is in a similar shot to the first, this time gagged with a strip of silver duct tape. This scene is quite brief and is shown a few times in the next 5-10 minutes - be warned, the scene is a little grisly (Sam - take note after your grumble over the Dexter scene!). Not sure if it's worth capping for collection purposes, the DiD is quite nice looking so I leave it up to the relevant individual :D I would however recommend watching this for non-DiD purposes, enjoyed it immensely. Can be found on YouTube at the link below. |

| I believe this has been talk about for years and I remember the scene but had a hard time verifying it as the only Adam-12 episode where a woman is bound and gagged. Officers Malloy and Reed answer a call of a theater manager and ticket sales lady missing. They discover them bound and gagged upstairs in the mangers officer. Putz Alert for the manager. Problem there's no closeups of her. Best part is her loud mmmphing that starts at the 8:38 mark. |
