However, if Ooyala should become more frequent on the net there might be more/easier ways to save the streams, too! |

| This one's great, and thankfully I managed to keep it that way by cutting out (pun intended) some very nasty throat-cutting sequences of the unknown damsel. The Rule -- When the lady-cop-show scriptwriters run out of other ideas, they fall back on the DID classic: Every TV police-woman is eventually taken captive by a madman, her hands secured behind her back (usually, and preferably, with her own handcuffs), gagged -- and very much imperiled. (Hey, it keeps viewers from switching channels probably better than anything else out there -- as well we know! -- "Modern Marvels" just can't compete with *that*.) She must rely on her academy training, female wits, uncanny cop instincts (and of course sensitive male cop colleagues) to get out of this seemingly impossible situation... Yet somehow...she always does. Other shows that followed The Rule: -- Lady Blue -- Law and Order -- Policewoman -- Cagney and Lacy -- Rookie Blue? (haven't kept up with this show) -- Probably others...what about it, DIDoids?? |
