I think that's just light reflection. But if you freeze frame it at the end when he rips the tape off, you can see that they attached a thin strip of duct tape on the inside of her tape gag to protect her lips. |

| Great scene, this. My thanks to Rock Lobster at Discussion for the helpful timecodes & preview caps. In some ways I actually prefer Quesnelle's tape gag + stuffing scene better than Dourif's one (which is also excellent). I just LOVE how Quesnelle opens her pretty mouth nice & wide to allow that big piece of white cloth to be fished out.
