After a commercial break and a brief struggle, Ariel escapes and runs off. At 31mins we see the girlfriend, Juliette (Tulloch), and Ariel on a railroad handcar. Juliette is cleave gagged with a green/purple patterned scarf and tied hands-behind-back and ankles together with copper wires which have been turned into makeshift handcuffs. She lies helplessly and still as Ariel pumps the handcar towards a tunnel. More at 33mins. At 34mins, Juliette is left leaning against a wall, still tied and gagged as the bait in a trap for the boyfriend. The hero's friend manages to sneak over to her and free her hands, but leaves the gag in place when Ariel starts to walk over. She pulls down the gag to issue some threats, and Juliette (hands now free) slugs her. She then frees her feet and escapes with her rescuer at 38mins. |

Carly (Maddie) is dressing in her room when she is grabbed from behind. She is put into the back of a truck and driven out to the farm where the pack resides with her wrists tied in front of her, and gagged with duct tape. Pulled from the truck, her wrist ropes are used to lower her into a well, where she spends the night suspended. She wears a blouse and jeans for the abduction and the night in the well. (Occurs at the beginning of the episode.) The next morning she is taken out of the well, and the gag is pulled off for a conversation with the pack leader. She is then stripped and washed for a ceremony. After being given a rough bath, she is put into a plain white dress, and she stands tied spreadeagled in the barn while the pack prepares to bring her back into the fold. The pack learns that the cops are on the way, so Carly is regagged and lowered back into the well to hide her. This doesn't work, and the cops find her and pull her out. Occurs approx. 40 minutes into the broadcast version, including commercials). |

Later, 35mins, she is seen being shoved by two thugs towards a pier to expose her to water, her hands are now taped in front, half on wrist/half on hand style but seemingly effective. She is pushed down face first with her head held under water while her ankles are bound with thick rope that is tied to an anchor. When she transforms to a mermaid (or "Naiad" as they're called) they pull her back and cut off the tape restraining her wrists. During a fight with the lead cops she is knocked out and pushed into the water with the anchor dragging her down; nice but quick closeups of her sinking past the camera on the way to the bottom. Later Nick finds her underwater, decent closeup of her bound legs before he unties and pulls her up. |

She is seen again at 38' laying on the floor, OTM gagged very loosely with a grey bandanna, hands tied the same way and also her legs are bound. Short scenes. |

The bad guy carries her OTS into a cabin at 32mins, where he places her foot up on a log 2mins later. He removes her left shoe and sock, and just as he's getting ready to chop her foot off the good guys scare him off at 35mins. Shortly, we again we see chloe being carried OTS in the woods, still bound and gagged. He dumps her on the ground, ties her hands onscreen against a metal stake and leaves her there to struggle very energetically. She eventually manages to escape offscreen after 37mins and is later saved, but not before exacting sweet revenge on her captor with a long piece of metal. Good close-up shots of her gagged face and the sole of one barefoot. She also mmpphhs continuously throughout the scene. |

The gag is clearly not even tied as Rosalee (Bree Turner) pulls it off without reaching for a knot, but the ropes were fairly secure and are untied onscreen. Selina's capture was shown earlier at 29mins, when she is knocked out at an apartment by one of the junkyard goons. Times based on the iTunes release without commercials. |

At 34-35mins she locks herself in a room, sits on the floor and grabs a roll of tape; she wraps it around her ankles and most of the way up her knee-high boots, then holds the roll in place between her knees and expertly wraps more of it around her wrists, essentially a front hogtie. Unfortunately she opts not to gag herself. The scene ends when her eyes turn red and the transformation begins. Her later escape from this self-imposed predicament is not shown (besides all the broken bits of tape strewn across the room), but it is a nice and unexpected display of self-bondage from a woman who still looks good at 55. Recommended, even for the lack of a gag. |

Eventually Carvalho is taken to a jeep and handcuffed to the bench of an open-air jeep and driven off. Lengthy, well-lit, and despite putz appearance you can edit around pretty good. |
