The scene plays out over a wide spread of episodes, where she's kidnapped with her boyfriend at the end of episode 43. Unfortunately, you never see her gagged in a shot. I know this forum loves a good putz too (/s), and most of the action is focused on the boyfriend unfortunately. She unties herself using a sharp part of the chair she's tied to and makes a break for it. It's a shame, because she's very cute, and just as a putz is a dealbreaker for many here, hands-in-front is my personal kryptonite. It makes no sense and shuts down any suspension of disbelief there can be IMO. Here's a link, you can watch the show entirely online and it's easy to find. https://www.lasestrellas.tv/telenovelas/hermanas-un-amor-compartido/hermanas-un-amor-compartido-capitulo-completo-43-perdoname-video |

| Sunday April 12 14:54:35 2026 Software to brighten a dark scene |
| Hi everyone. Is there anyone with software that can "brighten" images who could add a little detail to the darker parts of this otherwise great scene? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bptaiuJU6bo Thanks. |

Yes, there is. But really, this is going to be a cast of "garbage in, garbage out". That video is a perfect example of why terms like "HD" and "1080p" don't tell you anything about the video quality. If you look at the dark areas, they are just mess of blocky bands and blocks (posterisation / macroblocks) which are artefacts that result when the codec wan't given enough data to work with, probably by YouTbe rather than the editor. Because there's no detail in the dark parts, it feels like it needs to be lighter, but I think it's likely you'll end up making the artefacts more visible, and you won't get more real detail. Not saying it won't be better, but it won't be great. It might be more hassle, but I'd find a decent source and edit it myself. Personally I wouldn't mess with the brightness, as I'd edit a version that has detail even in the dark parts. The scene, which you probably know, is from this. https://www.imdb.com/de/title/tt32612376/ The application I use for editing is called DaVinci Resolve. There is a free version, which I used for years. This is serious professional software (which is free), so it has pro-level colour grading, which could easily lighten your video. I'm sure there are simpler tools, but it's what I would use. And of course, you could also edit it. https://www.blackmagicdesign.com/products/davinciresolve It's one I'd like to do at some point, and I found some very high quality versions, including genuine 4K (7Gb files). I can attempt to edit and share one, then you can see the difference. I have a feeling Mediafire may block the share (and I don't use Mega), but I'm sure I can find a way round it. But if you prefer to lighten that one, then DaVinci will certainly do it for you. https://youtu.be/fzKEPad1LfM?si=14MSJq_-wQZEoSR4 |
