In the second half of the episode a family is taken hostage by robbers to fligth. After a reaction 4 members of the family (2 female 30 years old about and 2 male)are bound (hands behind) and gagged (a sort of cleave-otm with towels). They are closed in a store-room, standing, where they free themself. Some mmmpphh. Enough good, in my opinion. |

At 16mins, Rockford arrives at beach house just as she is being abducted, and is himself attacked by the masked kidnappers. During the fight, Sandy is led quickly out of his back room by two heavies; we can just about make out that her hands are behind her back and that she is gagged with a strip of white tape. She is then bundled into a waiting car. Scene lasts less than a minute. Her father later does a deal to get her released, cleverly negotiated by Rockford to avoid police involvement. She is later shown at the exchange location at 24mins, unbound and safe. She is kidnapped for a second time at 32mins, taken at gunpoint from the house by a masked man but not physically restrained as she is bundled into his car. Near the end of the episode, at 46mins, Sandy is shown at the villains' hideout; her hands are tied behind her back with rope and she is OTM gagged with a white cloth. They take her outside to prepare for another exchange when Rockford and a colleague turn up. She runs off when the shooting starts, after which she is freed offscreen. |

They briefly carry her over-the-shoulder as she mmpphhs loudly, but the abduction attempt is broken up by Jim Rockford. Apart from the initial handgag, which is shown in a good close-up, the scene is very darkly lit and viewed from a distance. At 25mins, Amy (Suwol) is seen seated and forced to make a telephone call to her brother; she may be tied, but we only see her from the waist up. Later, at 36-38mins, there is a length of rope around her upper body, and she is now tightly cleave gagged with the mouth-fillingest white cloth you are likely to see for a while. Many close-ups of her gagged face, but no sounds from her. She is rather unflatteringly dressed in a brown cardigan/sweater. All times based on the DVD release.
