| Well, that's the good thing regarding Khmer-dubbed Lakorns: Nearly every Lakorn in Thai has its equivalent on Youtube in Khmer, so there are not only 3, but mostly 6 pics on http://www.ociotube.com to compare: That increases the probability to catch a scene (but it also increases the length of research:(). This paid off when I compared the scenes of Lueard Nai Din, of which I posted a far too short scene (damsel "Kwan" Usamanee) two days ago. Now I found a second scene for this lovely actress in the same Lakorn: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_rDdIJFCTJw The scene could have lasted longer, but at least it has a short closeup of tied (sitting, hands behind) and otm-gagged (orange cloth) "Kwan" while one of the baddies makes a phone-call to her lover/hero. She is ungagged during the call, the scene starts ca. mid-length of the clip. |

| Just found another one, this time in Khmer only: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XqT2FKVOSQo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8UJaQYxOvPI This scene starts in the middle of ep. 11.3 and ends in the second half of ep. 11.4. It's an esepcially funny (and therefore non-realistic) scene: The damsel is Jiranan "Yui" Manojam, who got otm-gagged (see earlier postings) and now gets otm-gagged a second time. She is kidnapped at night from a burning hut in the woods by some very unable bandits, who lay her down in the quiet forest, then decide to tie and gag her (offscreen). She is tied hands in front and her feet are also tied, her gag consists of a brown otm-cloth. When one of the bandits is going to "examine" her a little bit more, the hero arrives and overpowers the baddies (with the help of the damsel). But the hero unties only her feet, so the damsel gets very angry, and while they are "arguing" (her gagged mouth is surely much better understood in Khmer-dubbing than in original Thai language!) more baddies are showing up. Therefore the hero and the still tied and gagged damsel have to flee through the night. End of ep. 11.3 At the beginning of ep. 11.4 the hero and the damsel cover the retreat of some fleeing inhabitants of the burnt village by a rearguard-action, for which "Yui" demands a pistol from the hero (she is still tied and gagged). All the way down to the river they are shooting at the pursuing bandits, and all the while "Yui" stays tied and gagged until she can convince the hero to untie her hands at least! Then they swim to the other side of the river, and "Yui" is STILL gagged when they reach the beach. Then the hero has to carry her to a hut (don't worry, she's not been injured, but she's very tired), where he places her on a bed; and even now, with her hands free, she doesn't ungag herself, but mmmphs at the hero to ungag her - which he FINALLY does (her first reaction is to bite him in the arm, hahaha!). Long explanatory text, but also a very long and very curious scene:)! |
