| Thanks for the compliment, "X"! Otm-gags seem to be the most frequent type of gag in Thai-Tv, with cleaves a close second, while tape isn't that popular (and hopefully won't be in the future). And here is another Lakorn-otm-scene, which I was able to identify without any trouble, because the damsel is lead actress Jiranun "Yui" Manojam: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=40bcU574Aqg http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=64JuVSLgujA "Yui" celebrates her birthday while sitting in a wheelchair, from which she is kidnapped by two guys via chloroform. She is driven off in - of course:) - a minivan, tied hands in front VERY unconvincingly with rope and otm-gagged with white cloth. Later she's waking up in a dark building where she has been placed on the ground, tied and gagged as before. She's not able to stand up (wheelchair, you remember), so her feet are not tied up (but she is barefoot, for fans;)). She's trying weakly to get rid of her bonds and gag, in which she finally succeeds, while the hero has his own problems trying to save her. |

| This time, a cleave-scene again, the damsel is Lalita "Mew" Panyopas (her second full treatment, see earlier postings): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6kk2D4C6o0M http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nq-CcedlO08 She gets kidnapped from her home (a hut in the jungle) by three annoying gangsters, who leave behind her mother (?), an elderly woman, tied and otm/cleave-gagged. Lalita is marched through the jungle, tied hands in front with thick rope, cleave-gagged with a rather sloppy (at times, at least) but thick multi-coloured cloth. When the kidnappers rest, she is placed standing, then sitting in front of a tree; an escape-attempt is unsuccessful, and the journey goes on, until the hero emerges, who ungags and unties her. A long scene (ending right at the end of ep. 113), but only of mediocre quality, because this is an older Lakorn, probably from the late 1980s. |

| I found this TOTALLY by fluke. I was just browsing about and came across this interview show where from about 5:16 on it shows some totally offhand footage from the first Lakorn we saw her in. If you watch this, you can see she is not only wearing the same clothes but she also still has her gag around her neck. She even plays around with it a couple of times, though unfortunately, no bonds, and no regagging. Even for jokes purposes. Still, I thought this was a total fluke find and had to post it! |
