The beau of Edy discovers her sitting down again on the bench, but this time tightly cleave gagged with a thin black cloth. Their dialogue and antics are insufferable, but timecodes are provided here to spare DiD-fans from most of it. At 31mins Jennifer (Lesser) and her daughter Mia (Kotch) arrive home, only to be grabbed by the junkies. One of them punches Jennifer in the face, after which she is forced onto the couch. Torn strips of cream-coloured cloth are used to restrain the helpless brunette: her hands are tied behind her back and she is tightly cleave gagged, all done onscreen. She is then sat on a chair, where she will remain for almost the entire scene. A putz is in the same situation next to her. Mia is left unbound at this point, so at 34mins she unties Jennifer's hands when the junkies are not looking. Jennifer is soon ungagged by a somewhat sympathetic Kari (Summer Crockett Moore), the only female member of the gang, but not before a gag-talked "Thank you" when she receives some ice for her face. The de facto gang leader disapproves of this, so he re-gags her just as tightly as before. A policeman rings the doorbell at 37mins, prompting Jennifer to spring into action. Without wasting time to ungag herself, she uses her now-free hands to grab Mia and try to escape. Immediately both are overpowered on the floor and given prolonged handgags (Mia managing to bite Kari in the scuffle), with lots of struggling and mmpphhing until things quieten down after about a minute. The scene becomes a veritable putzfest from hereon. Jennifer is back on the chair, bound and gagged as before, but now has two putzes on either side of her; the gang leader fell foul of his accomplices. Fortunately, Mia also joins the grown-ups; she is bound and gagged the same way as Jennifer, but only stays like this until getting free offscreen at 40mins. She spends the remainder of the film hiding around the house. Jennifer is very briefly shown at 42mins, having tipped over her chair onto the floor. In this view we see that her feet are bound to the chair legs with the aforementioned cloth strips. She is not shown again until 48-50mins, still sitting next to one of the putzes (the other is taken to the basement); both are ungagged, so they strike a deal to help each other get free. The cloth is left around her neck for the rest of the scene, but is no longer used to gag her. Yet again she is not shown for a while, until 1hr 5mins. Still bound to the chair, she is dragged down to the basement to join the putzes. More glimpses of her at 1hr 8mins, 1hr 11mins, 1hr 15mins and 1hr 17mins. Finally the scene ends in a bloody mess at 1hr 18mins, when Jennifer gets loose and brutally stabs Kari with a knife. All times based on the Blu-ray release. The only cast members properly listed for Portrait in Terror are William Campbell and Patrick Magee. The rest of the actors listed at IMDB for Portrait in Terror do not exist. It is the only movie they have an entry for. The real actors are listed for Operacija Ticijan. The scene in question is in both movies and the actress is actually Irena Prosen. There was again a third edit in 1966, called Blood Bath or Track of the Vampire. Our scene is not in this movie.
