This page is for posting links to online streaming video, Youtube and things like that. The rules are somewhat looser than Discussion. You can post and discuss mainstream and related amateur video. Do not post clips from commercial videos. It's usually not that hard to tell the difference.

| I was realized that G00gle drive may present a free solution for hosting video clips. Each account gets 15GB, and the best part is you can view clips directly online much like YouTube or download the video. Files are easily organized and searchable, and there is no issue with copyright restrictions (I believe). I'm also testing now using their G00gle Photos app with "unlimited" high quality video clip uploads, but the 15GB limit isn't hard to over-come with multiple accounts. I'm going to start uploading all the videos I've got on my local computers (mostly downloaded from Sam's/Raffish's Mega sites), any when I get a chance perhaps slowly see if I can move his large collection into G00gle drive. Another option I haven't tried would be Flickr which has a larger storage limit (1TB) but not sure about videos. |

Someone a while back was mentioning the possibility of removing that frowny face from the gag. I just tried it in Photoshop, and it wasn't too hard to do for a single frame with Replace Color and Box Blur, which means that it shouldn't be too hard to do for the whole clip...though if it's worth doing, it seems worth doing for the open-matte version if HDGags can provide. (Any image processing experts know if this is the most efficient way to do it? I got slightly more realistic-looking results with the Smudge tool, but that would require manual painting on each frame, which isn't practical. Seems like this way should be good enough for a moving image.) |

Continued from Discussion...it's probably easier if I do this, since I've already got the entire archive in a single local directory. I'll try to get started on that when I'm done traveling in a few days. (It'll probably go more smoothly if it doesn't keep getting interrupted.) Just for reference, the current archive is about 240GB (the majority of which is Sam's). |
