Title: Don (1978) Medium: Movie Actress: Zeenat Aman, Helen aka Helen Jairag, Arpana Choudhary aka Arpana Chowdhry Description: Shortly after the start, Helen tries to set up a criminal for capture by alerting police. She is taken hostage, bound hands behind and tape gagged. Later Zeenat, in a ruse to smuggle the criminal out of a police guarded hospital, dresses as a nurse, and ties her wrists in front and tape-gags herself. Later on, the criminal's girlfriend Arpana is tied hands behind and cleave-gagged by the hero when she discovers he is posing as the villian. There are a few scenes of her trying to open a top sill latched door with her teeth, then running out bound and gagged into a party to try to alert the other criminals. The hero claims she talks too much, so he tied and gagged her. He hustles her back into a room and locks the door. Zeenat is wearing a nurses uniform, the other ladies are wearing disco style dresses and heels. |

Title: Black Mask (1996) Medium: Movie Actress: Karen Mok, Francoise Yip Description: Fun Jet Li Hong Kong product about a masked crimefighter with some humour, great action and two bondage scenes. Francoise Yip is suspended by the waist, arms behind and provided with a bit gag. She is later cut down and placed on a table by a horny sleazeball who gets more than he bargained for. Ms. Yip is stunning. Later ubercute Karen Mok is tied with arms behind and cleavegagged while chained by one ankle. The USA airing (with ads, of course) had the first scene popping about the 30' mark, and the second around 60' in. The first scene lasts about ten minutes, the second around five, although Ms. Mok's ankle remains chained beyond that. Bonus: Ms. Mok is very briefly handgagged about the 50' mark in a friendly scenario after calling Li's character feigning distress in order to get him to come to a surprise party. |

Title: Blazing Saddles (1974) Medium: Movie Actress: Madeline Kahn Description: A little more than midway through, her Dietrich-inspired saloon singer character is tied standing, ungagged, wearing a black lace teddy, stockings, and garters, with her arms down at her sides by a rope around her midsection to a pot-bellied stove. Although the lead baddie (Harvey Korman) pretends to slap her across the face to shut her up when she starts singing to mock him, it's obvious that he doesn't really hit her, so as not to detract from the comic nature of the scene. |

Title: Angel (1999) Medium: TV Series Actress: Amy Acker Description: Episode: "Why We Fight" (5.13) In this partial flashback episode, a vampire returns after six decades to avenge his martyrdom (as he sees it) during WWII by taking Angel's friends hostage and threatening to kill them. Yes, it's about as forced as it sounds, but it does lead to the full treatment for Fred (Acker). We first see her tied to a chair at the 15-minute mark (including commercials). While the three quick shots at this point -- two long shots and one close-up -- total all of three seconds, they do show off her cute skirt, legs, hands-to-chair-arms bondage, and a surprisingly credible detective gag. Cut to the 30-minute mark. Just before the commercial, we see Fred standing on a chair: still gagged, tied hands behind (though see below) and ankles together, with a noose around her neck. Lamentably, her colleagues Wesley and Gunn are in a similar predicament on either side of her. Back from commercial, the scene continues. Finally, just to keep the every-15-minute thing going, the sequence concludes with a final scene beginning at the 45-minute mark. There's a lot more didactic dialogue than distressed damsel, and there's also one unfortunate shot from behind in which it looks very much as though Fred's wrists aren't actually tied at all. Still, we do get a few rather nice close-ups of Acker (who pouts nicely) and her gag as the action unfolds, so far be it from me to consider this sequence unworthy. |

The low-heeled boots are worn over tight pants. Later, during the climax, Ticotin is manacled to the chair while attired in the same outfit.
