In a drunken stupor he contracts a PI to kill Theresa. The PI turns out to be a serial killer and instead of killing her, he kidnaps her to have some “fun” with her. We see Theresa at minute 48 tied with ropes to a chair. Her hands are tied behind her back and we only get to see a loop of rope around her waist. She is wearing a black bra while the psycho gently brushes her hair, She is not gagged. The next scene (minute 50)has Theresa lying in a bed with her stretched arms tied to the bed posts. Her ankles also seem to be tied to the rail of the bed. She is still in her underwear but this time she has been cleaved gagged with a red cloth. The bad guy is talking to the husband demanding ransom money and reclining over her belly, caressing her. She moans but does not struggle much. The last and most powerful scene occurs at the 64 minute. Theresa is kneeling on the bed with her hands tied to the bed posts of the foot rest. This time she is blindfolded with a broad white cloth and remains cleaved gagged and in her black underwear. She is now struggling forcefully fearing the killer is ready to finish her. The cops get in time and rescue her. We see how the cop cuts her ropes and gently removes her gag and blindfold. She cries. In a convoluted twist in the story she ends up extracting revenge against her husband |

Record number: 1210 Title: The Lake (1998) Medium: TV Movie Actress: Marion Ross, Yasmine Bleeth Description: Sci-fi yarn about a small town whose residents are undergoing radical physical and emotional changes-because they're being replaced by mirror-image inhabitants from a parallel universe coming through a vortex in a nearby lake. The originals are then sent down through the vortex to dispose of them. Ross' character suffers this fate about halfway through the film, being carried out onto the lake in a boat with her hands cuffed in front and a duct-tape gag, which she removes to beg for her life-or at least her place in this world-to no avail. About 45 minutes later, Bleeth's character winds up lying on a dock beside the lake with her hands tied behind her, being taunted and duct-tape gagged by Bleeth's character, or more correctly, her mirror-image from down below. Then she, her boyfriend, and a young boy they tried to rescue are carried out in a boat toward the vortex. There are several isolated shots of Bleeth's tape-gagged face and bound hands-which she's trying to free with a knife she surreptitiously picked up on the dock-as the final scene plays itself out. |
