She has total amnesia, and her wrists are heavily bandaged. She wanders out of the house looking for help, and is tormented and shunned by everybody she sees. 19’ in, she and another girl are stumbling through the woods when they are captured by a woodsman. A hood is pulled over Victoria’s head and the other girl is ordered to lead her through the woods. Reaching a clearing, Victoria is tied bent over a fallen tree with her wrists extended. He is about to torture her with a power drill when the second girl manages to grab his gun, shoot him and cut her loose. At 29’, after some more weirdness and wandering around, Victoria finds herself shackled to a chair by her wrists and ankles. She then finds that the chair is on stage in a crowded theatre (British show, British spelling), and her captor explains why she is being tormented. She cries as her crimes are spelled out, and her punishment becomes clear – she gets tormented over and over again. The chair is carried out of the theatre and placed in a popemobile-like vehicle, so that she can be driven through the crowd and jeered. The drive takes her back to the original house she had woken up in, and the chair is carried back inside to the same room. An injection wipes out her memory again, and the scene is reset so that she can go through the same routine again. |

Nearing the witching hour, she's handcuffed to the bottom of an ascending elevator, which will crush her when the New Year is rung in. She survives, natch. |
