Record number: 615 Title: The General (1927) Medium: Movie Actress: Marion Mack Description: Roughly 10 minutes into the film, Marion's hands are bound behind her back, and cleave-gagged onscreeen. In a later shot we see them carrying her across the top of the train. A rope has been wrapped around her skirt. In the third shot she is sitting atop the wood on the tender with her gag and the skirt wrappings gone but her hands appearently still tied behind her. Later she is led into a house with her hands now unbound. She is locked in a bedroom but escapes with the aid of Buster Keaton. He smuggles her out by putting her in a large sack. |
