Record number: 11526 Title: The Skeleton Key (2005) Medium: Movie Actress: Kate Hudson Description: About 75-80m into the film Hudson is choked unconscious and comes to in the cab of a truck, cleve gagged with a white dishcloth (Tea towel), hands roped behind her back. She moans and pleads a but through the gag as the truck pulls up outside an old house, then she is dragged struggling inside where the gag is removed but her hands remain tied. She escapes running through the house and kicks through a window to get out of the house, then uses the jagged glass to cut her wrists free. There are a few close ups of her gagged face and bound arms, the rope appears to be a little above the wrists but I'm not sure. She's wearing a black sweater like top with lace binding at the neck, jeans and black flat heel boots. There's also a short take where she has her mouth and eyes sewn shut during a hallucination |

Record number: 2936 Title: Farscape Medium: TV Series Actress: Gigi Edgley, Claudia Black Description: Episode: "Durka Returns" (1.15) Moya damages another ship and when the crew are brought on board among them is Captain Durka, greatly feared by Pilot. Also with them is a young female Nebari prisoner Chiana (Edgley) who is dragged on board locked in scissor cuffs with a high tech discipline collar attached around her neck. When she struggles overmuch, the collar gives her a nasty jolt. We get several views of Chiana on and off until eventually, about halfway through the episode, she manages to free herself. Meanwhile things have turned nasty and Durka is taking over Moya. He overpowers Aeryn (Claudia Black), and she is kept kneeling before him, hands tied behind her back. Again, we get quite a few views of Aeryn until she, too, breaks free. Naturally in the end our heroes win through. |

Record number: 7419 Title: Scooby-Doo (2002) Medium: Movie Actress: Sarah Michelle Gellar Description: At the beginning of the film, Daphne is shown being carried under the arm of an airborne "ghost." Her arms are tied in front with jump rope. She's not gagged at the start, but later in the scene her green scarf is used as an overgag. The scene lasts several minutes, but there are only three or four quick shots of her gagged face before the gang comes to the rescue. The animated title sequence also has a brief scene for Daphne, hopping along bound hand and foot (wrists behind, rope around her upper torso) and gagged over her nose with blue cloth (per a couple of her scenes in the original series). The title sequence wasn't shown in the NICKELODEON airing. *Note*: the DVD contains "behind-the-scenes" footage. There are several shots of the scene which were deleted from the movie. Included are several good closeups, with Ms. Gellar looking right into the camera. There are also a couple other extended angles of her gagged. |

As reporter Erin and her friends try to stop it, they are captured by militant geek Seth Green. At 1:36 into the broadcast version (including commercials), she and her two male companions find Seth’s hiding place in an abandoned warehouse, but are caught in one of his booby traps. All three are then imprisoned sitting on the floor, hands tied behind their backs and blindfolded. They manage to convince Seth that they are on his side, and he unties them. At 1:54, the warehouse is attacked by FBI agents that are being controlled by the A/I. Erin and the two guys are captured again, and this time are put into the back of an SUV with hands secured behind their backs with yellow plasti-cuffs. The cuffs are also used to secure their ankles. They manage to convince one of the FBI guys to free them so that they can disable the A/I. |

Record number: 16322 Title: American Horror Story: Asylum Medium: TV Series Actress: Jenna Dewan Tatum; Sarah Paulson Description: Episode: Welcome to Briarcliff (2.01) Jenna and her boyfriend open the episode by exploring an abandoned insane asylum. They find the electro-shock table and he quickly shackles her onto it by her wrists. He opens her blouse and pulls down her pants to expose her black lingerie, but she chickens out and asks to be released before they can actually have sex on the table. Sarah Paulson (playing a reporter who sneaks into the titular asylum) is shown wearing a hospital gown and in four-point restraints and a metal head device. The short scenes with her and the evil Sister Jude (Jessica Lange) are intercut with scenes showing Sister Jude blackmailing Sarah's roommate/lesbian lover into signing commitment papers (this takes place in 1964). She struggles wildly against the restraints when she comes to understand that the nun is going to hold her prisoner indefinitely. This occurs near the end of the episode. |
