Record number: 5323 Title: Flipper (1995) aka The New Adventures of Flipper Medium: TV Series Actress: Colleen Flynn Description: Episode: "Pearl Maker" (1.12) Dr. Pam Blondel (Flynn) and her colleague, Dr. Keith Ricks (Brian Wimmer), are abducted by a pair of thugs. At the 7:30 mark of the episode (no commercials) we see the two blindfolded heroes lying on their backs on the deck of a boat with their hands tied in front with red cord. At about the 9:20 mark, the boat is beached on a lonely cay and the two marine biologists are marched to the gang's headquarters where their blindfolds are removed for some reason. Upset that Pam and Keith were snooping around equipment hidden on the ocean floor, the gang leader orders them killed. Blindfolded again, they are taken far out to sea, where their blindfolds are removed and the pair thrown overboard. The heroes saw through their bonds using coral on the ocean floor and with Flipper's help manage to make it back to safety. The scene ends at the 13:00 mark. |

Record number: 21016 Title: His Double Life (2016) aka Betrayed Medium: TV Movie Actress: Emmanuelle Vaugier Description: Scarlett (Cristine Prosperi) and her boyfriend are snooping around a house in an attempt to foil the plans of a computer hacker who has been living a double life. At 1hr 17-18mins the hacker arrives home and gets the jump on the boyfriend and Scarlett's mother Linda (Vaugier), offscreen. Scarlett goes downstairs to find them both sitting back-to-back on chairs, hands tied to the armrests with white rope, feet loosely tied together, and each gagged with two wide overlapping strips of duct tape. Linda is ungagged by her, but the hacker puts paid to the rescue by knocking out Scarlett with a punch. He then re-gags Linda onscreen with the tape, eliciting a couple of nice mmpphhs from her (while sounding like she has a stuffy nose). Frustratingly, she gets free offscreen after less than a minute. Times based on the Lifetime broadcast without commercials. |
