Record number: 8234 Title: Lone Star State of Mind (2002) aka Road to Hell Medium: Movie Actress: James King aka Jaime King Description: Babe (King) gets bound and gagged twice in this film. The first time comes a little over a half hour into the picture when her boyfriend (Joshua Jackson) is ordered at gunpoint to tape her hands behind her back. A moment later he's ordered to "tape her mouth shut", which he does with a wide strip of duct tape applied onscreen to much mmpphhing. She struggles like a real wildcat during this scene. She has an especially great reaction to being told, "The only thing better than a fine looking woman is a fine looking woman bound and gagged!" More nicely energetic struggling to wiggle her hands under her butt and around her feet to ungag herself and escape while the guys are out of the truck. The second scene comes a little after the hour mark. She's tied to a chair with a whole lot of rope and made to call her boyfriend. When the boyfriend arrives, she's OTM gagged with a red bandanna. Less struggling this time but some great facial expressions in the close-ups. Each scene is spread out over several minutes. |

Psycho-dad kidnaps Grace to get his hands on her mom. In the last 15min of the movie, he brings mom to a boat where he opens a hatch to show Grace hidden below deck with her hands tied in front of her. She is wearing a black cleave gag. Psycho-dad pulls her up on deck and threatens to kill both of them. Mom jumps dad, and as they fight around the deck, Grace screams though her gag, which changes from a thick to a thin cleave and back again, but otherwise stays out of the way. Tags: gagtype_cleave |

There she's unbound and ungagged, and seemingly tossed into the flames below, but actually caught by one of the hoaxers. Unfortunately, the scenes are short, with no closeups. The action's around the 35' mark (with commercials). |

Soon after, she hops around in the same predicament. Both scenes are brief. She's dressed in a blouse and hot pants. Happens around the 65' mark (with commercials). |

My old notes have the kidnapping occuring around the ten-minute mark, and the sack pulled over her being removed, along with the gag, about 23' in. I recall both scenes as brief. This occurs at night, but my memory is of a "day for night" lighting. In other words, not terribly dark. |
