The film's climax has her tied lying on her back, ungagged, with her hands in front to a large horizontal gear under a drawbridge, positioned in such a way that her head will be crushed by the vertical gear it meshes with if Tracy doesn't rescue her in time. Tess also endures a quick handgag from No-Face ("The Blank"), played by Madonna. |

She manages to stay alive, hanging by her neck, by holding the noose just loose enough. Later, she is bound standing atop a commode in a public restroom with her hands cuffed above her head, gagged with gaffers tape with a wire noose around her neck. It's rigged so that if she slips off the stall or lowers her hands, the wire noose strangles her. You can see it cut deeply into her neck in a couple of shots. Extensive scene as the psycho killer taunts her while bound. |

She eventually comes across some wire hangers in a closet, which she twists into a tool that pulls her bonds free. Although her feet are never tied, this is also a great scene for barefoot lovers. Happens in the last half. |
