One of that year's best TV scenes.

Title: Fatal Error (1999)
Medium: TV Movie
Actress: Janine Turner

Description: She's an Army scientist tracking down a virus that she and her disgraced-doctor boyfriend discover is transmitted by a new all-in-one communications device, courtesy of a mad programmer working for its developer.

The hacker accosts her after she slips into his house and ties her to a chair, hands behind her back, in his basement, enhancing the symbolism of the scene by using computer cables around her wrists and torso, a flat ribbon cable to strap her head to a board fastened to the chair back, and wide black electrical tape to gag her.

Action begins around the last twenty minutes.

Just to add a little more detail than the database does for those who haven't seen this one before. The best scene occurrs at the beginning of the movie when Grayson Hall is seen with a white overmouth gag. Great close-ups. She is then ungagged and stays that way till late in the movie when she is regagged. These late shots are not great shots or scenes, only for compleatists. Also Grayson Hall is an old bag, but she still looks good in a gag. Still scenes are far superior to the recent remake.

Murder C.O.D. (1990)
Day: Saturday April 16 2005
Time: 11:30PM E.T.
Channel: Lifetime Movie Network
Repeats Sunday, April 17 @ 11:05AM E.T.
Record number: 1220

Title: Murder C.O.D. (1990)
Medium: TV Movie
Actress: Chelsea Field

Description: Lame TV movie with Field as a detective's wife who gets kidnapped by the murderer he's after. About 15 minutes from the end Field is shown gagged with wide black tape and bound to a straight backed wooden chair. At first it appears her wrists are secured to the chair back with white adhesive tape, but later the bonds appear to be ropes. It's unclear whether this is a continuity error or the result of poor photography at the beginning of the sequence. The killer briefly removes the gag so Field can talk on the phone to her character's husband; it's replaced by the time the cops come to the rescue. Lots of nice moaning through the gag.
