When they find him hiding under a table, they decide it's time for a little frontier justice. After a brief struggle, they grab Crawford and lead her outside, where she and the boy are put on horses with their hands tied behind their backs, then ride off with the mob to the light of the flickering flames of the torched saloon. They stop underneath a bridge over which nooses are thrown. After the boy is done in, Crawford's horse is led to the remaining noose, but the men have second thoughts. For a moment she sits with the noose around her neck while McCambridge solicits a volunteer to slap the horse out from under her, before taking the job on herself at Crawford's suggestion. When she does, it carries Crawford off to safety, an unseen cohort having slipped onto the bridge and cut the rope. He is shown untying Crawford and helping her down off the horse a few seconds later. |

One of these people is an attractive blonde, who is very briefly shown bound and gagged with duct tape during the first half hour of the movie. The second person to experience his wrath is Laurie Fortier, who works for the mall management company. He kidnaps her and binds her to a chair; her wrists are secured to the armrests and her ankles to the legs of the chair. She is gagged with duct tape. Ms. Fortier's bondage scene is rather prolonged and quite delectable, with several close-ups of her face. |

Towards the end of the episode Cassie (Christina Cole) encounters Azrael whom she blames for the disappearance of Thelma (Jemima Rooper) and demands he take her to Thelma. Azrael agrees and opens a secret panel which leads to a room where we see a blindfolded Thelma sitting with her hands behind a chair. Subsequent rearview shots establish that Thelma's hands are bound behind the chair with leather restraint cuffs. Azrael removes the blindfold and threatens Thelma with a knife to her throat but makes it clear that he wants a willing sacrifice rather than a murder. Cassie keeps him talking while using her powers to unfasten the cuffs by implying she'll give her life to him if he releases Thelma. Unfortunately it doesn't end happily because as soon as she's free Thelma throws herself between Azrael and Cassie getting stabbed and becoming the willing sacrifice Azrael wanted to save her friend's life. |
