Re: Nightflyers 107
Looking closely it's not a clear-panel ballgag. Gretchen has an oxygen tube in her nose and a feeding tube thingy in her mouth so it's probably a quarantine/medical procedure rather than anything bondage-related. She does look suitably distressed however, as does the whole show. Shades of Event Horizon

Comical
How many scenes can you identify were the damsel is bound and gagged, but all her attempts to free herself is mostly comical in nature. I truly can't think of any. Possibly a brain freeze

It’s truly a paradox because the vast majority of comical scenes feature bondage so poor that the actress could usually just stand up and walk away if she wanted to.

This scene from the 1980s sitcom Sledge Hammer seems as though it could be one:
Record number: 127

Title: Sledge Hammer
Medium: TV Series
Actress: Anne-Marie Martin

Description: Episode: "Wild About Hammer" (2.4)

Tied to a chair and gagged. Lots of struggling scenes, as she tips the chair over in an attempt to escape.

On the Sledge Hammer season 2 DVD, in addition to containing the actual episode, there is one feature ("Gun Crazy") where Anne Marie Martin discusses the fun she had doing the bound and gagged fight scene

Agreed, how were they tied? Those loosie caps aren't enough of an enticement to watch.

How about the scene where the damsel is working to try to cut through the ropes tying her hands behind her, and then stops and reaches around to wipe her brow, after which they cut to another closeup of her hands behind her as she works to free herself?

Riverdale 308
Crap fest of a show had three separate scenes tonight, and not one of them was worth a second look. Punk Brit Morgan chained and questioned, evil nun Beverly Breuer tied to a chair and questioned, and bad mama Nathalie Boltt tied to a chair, drenched with syrup, and questioned.

None of the three shown being tied, or freed, no shots worth looking at, and no followup of any kind with any of the three.
