Record number: 2147 Title: Charmed Medium: TV Series Actress: Shannen Doherty Description: Episode: "Give Me a Sign" (2.15) Phoebe (Alyssa Milano) wrote a spell to bring "her sister" together with her "true love". Unfortunately, she should have been more specific, because instead of bringing Piper (Holly Marie Combs) and Leo together, she unites Prue (Shannen Doherty) with an escaped convict. When he appears, at 5mins, he chloroforms her with a white cloth and whisks her away. Before her whereabouts are shown, Phoebe and Piper show the discarded cloth to a detective at 7mins. Phoebe also has a flashback, at 9mins, in which Prue is shown being blindfolded with a thick and wide sheet of white cloth, and cleave gagged with another one; both done onscreen. When the flashback ends, Piper asks Phoebe what she saw. Phoebe responds in a matter-of-fact tone: "Prue....bound and gagged". Good sequence for fans of DiD-related dialogue. When we finally see Prue, she is bound to a chair (hands tied behind her back with rope, feet tied together to the chair) and still gagged and blindfolded. Unfortunately, the gag comes off quite quickly and is not used again. She does nonetheless stay blindfolded for most of the scene, except when her captor takes it off for a short while. When Prue uses her vision to unleash some powers on him, he quickly blindfolds her again. After a while he talks to her some more, then takes off the blindfold and unties her at 17mins. |

| The trailer for the film "Drunk Parents" dropped today and surprisingly enough, it features a brief scene with Salma Hayek bound and gagged. There is a putz alert, however. Definitely worth keeping an eye on! |

Title: Counterstrike Episode: "Clear Cut" (3.14) While investigating a case in logging country, Counterstrike agent Gabrielle Germont (Sophie Michaud) is captured by the gun-wielding head baddie, who gets the drop on her from behind. When next she is seen, she has already been gagged (offscreen) with a thick, tight, white cloth cleave. Her hands are then tied behind her back with rope, onscreen (this is the reverse of the usual procedure (tie, and then gag); this is significant, as you will see). After a little evidence clean-up, he drives her out to open country. At the end of the road, he confers briefly with a confederate, then marches Gabrielle into the deep woods, where he intends to dispose of her. In due course, they come to a high cliff. The villain’s plan is to make it appear that she died accidentally in a fall while hiking through unfamiliar territory. Of course, if the authorities find her body tied up, it would be kind of hard to pass off her death as an accident. So the villain takes off the bondage, starting with the cleave. But after the gag is removed, Gabrielle immediately – and unexpectedly – spits out the mouth packing. Whoa! I didn’t see that coming. But it certainly explains the order of the tie-up. To do otherwise would have spoiled the surprise. The baddie then unties her hands. Desperately, Gabrielle lays a couple of karate moves on the bad guy, but fails to disarm him. Now, we have the classic situation. Does the damsel walk over the edge at gunpoint or force the villain to shoot her so that at least there will be the evidence of a bullet hole? Thankfully, neither happens. Counterstrike agent Hector Stone, gun in hand, gets the drop on the head baddie from behind, and Gabrielle is saved. A great scene, further enhanced by extensive footage of the beautiful bound damsel being hustled along roughly by the nasty villain. |

So Cate will get a tape gag (nightly) but I think photos and video might never happen, so unless you're lucky enough to get a ticket then you probably won't see it. |
