Be nice to see AJ with a much better duct tape gag before the show ends. She's had a couple before but sadly the scenes weren't that good, so a new one to more than amend for that would be awesome. |

As for why, it really is just a cultural/tradition difference, which would answer many of the "why nation X does Y" questions. However, as far as their efficiency goes, they - in movies and TV - merely aim at different kind of 'suspension of disbelief': while the common "western" type of gags (cleave, OTM, strip of tape) would be more difficult to get rid of, their ability to actually hinder speech is neglibile; the viewers just generally agree to accept the filmmakers' premise that they work. Conversely, stuff gags in fact hinder speech rather well. They are however much easier to get rid of - and again, in this case the viewers "suspense the disbelief" for the sake of fiction, and pretend that this self-removal option is difficult or impossible. |

Thursday January 31 10:24:18 2019 Elsa arrested - Don't 'let her go' |
This photo series is actually a few years old but resurrected for the current weather. Not very well done but the blonde playing the live action Elsa is very cute and there are a couple of good shots despite the silly pink cuffs: https://www.huffingtonpost.com/2015/02/23/ police-arrest-elsa-snow-queen-hanahan-south-carolina_n_6738092.html |

Thursday January 31 15:34:43 2019 Proven Innocent TV series |
Looks like Did superstar Rachelle Lefevre is in another series that could lead to a scene. She stars in the Fox series "Proven Innocent" that airs in February. She plays a lawyer taking on cases of the wrongfully accused. You never know with these lawyer type shows, but a scene for her is certainly possible, with her chasing bad guys and digging up dirt on the corrupt DA's office. Usually when Rachelle shows up, a gag is a good bet to follow. |
Thursday January 31 19:43:18 2019 They Got Me Covered |
Record number: 2783 Title: They Got Me Covered (1943) Medium: Movie Actress: Phyllis Ruth Description: Axis spies are menacing America again, and it's Bob Hope to the rescue! About 75 minutes in, inept reporter Bob Kittredge (Hope) is trying to hide from the bad guys. He ducks into a storeroom in hears some rustling under a comforter. Pulling away the covering, he sees Sally (Ruth), a kidnapped stenographer, seated on the floor, cleave gagged with a white cloth, wrists bound separately to the feet of a radiator. Her ankles are tied together. When Bob bends down to untie her gag he hears the bad guys closing in, so he quickly recovers her and exits stage right, telling Sally, "I'll be back. Don't go away!" ------------------------------ Also a pretty good F/F handgag scene for Dorothy Lamour, which should had led to more |
