Sunday December 07 11:18:05 2014 Kurtlar Vadisi |
For anyone speaking Turkish: why did the captors put earphones on the damsel? I understand there was a complex device with a cellphone on the bomb strapped on her, but why were the earphones necessary? It's a cute visual, though. I would like to see more DiDs wearing headphones or earphones. It happens from time to time (mainly in sound-torture scenes). |

There's a line in there where John Goodman's villainous character threatens Wahlberg with harm to her. Larson's adorable and it would be great for her to finally get a scene, so let's hope. |

Reviews of the first two episodes suggest it's a pretty lighthearted, old-school (borderline corny) adventure, the kind of a setup that can be good for possible scenes. Regulars Rebecca Romijn and Lindy Booth are lovely, and hottie Lesley-Ann Brandt appears in at least five episodes (per IMDB) as a villain. |

I've been waiting 10 years for Lindy Booth to get a good full-treatment scene ever since I first noticed her in "Dawn of the Dead". She's probably in my top 5 of most wished-for actresses. Her character is the meek one so I'm hopeful this will be the year. I'll be keeping a close eye on this series. |

I vaguely recall a member of the villainous inbred family in Wrong Turn pulling a cloth between her teeth. Does anyone recall this scene, or was it just my imagination? |

Sunday December 07 15:26:55 2014 2015 quality upgrades |
This year had many pleasant surprises for me as a DiD-clipper, due to the large amount of TV shows (and movies, but those are too numerous to mention) that finally received HD broadcasts. As result, we now have the following in great quality: * Alias * 24 * The X Files (I'm in the process of making 1080i edits, but it'll take a while) * Kojak * Angel (S05) * Batman The only show I can think of that still needs an upgrade is our much-beloved Las Vegas. How great it would be to see those Nikki Cox and Vanessa Marcil scenes in pristine quality. |

I just watched that last night and was thinking the same thing. In related DID news, There was a brief b/g scene in Sophia Grace & Rosie's Royal Adventure (Rated G). Luckily it's from an actress playing a parole officer to an escaping Judy Greer (I think that's who it was). She's tied to her chair with lots of power cords and gagged with a bunch of white tape. I was hoping there would be something from one of the older princesses. The movie was pretty painful, even when skipping through. For desperate completists. |

IIRC it was barbed wire and her character was killed and mutilated by it. She did have a full treatment scene in the old Eerie Indiana series but I didn't think too much of it. |
