Although all the scenes are available on line some place, there is something special about watching them on the small screen in the context of the episode and the plot, as lame as the plots can be. Plus the clips can often cut out stuff that is important. For example, in the dolphins episode the two henchmen comment to one another that she (Diane Prince who they have left bound and gagged in a room on the boat) asks an awful lot of questions, to which one replies "good thing we gagged her." Good indeed. I recall this from the episode but have never been able to find it on line. Every clip cuts that line out. |

Good indeed. To which I'd thought, no argument on the second statement, but I'm not sure why gagging an agent below decks on a boat located a considerable distance away from anyone else is a good idea, whereas gagging a woman who isn't an agent wouldn't be a good idea. I thought, "Is there some sort of study that indicates that female government agents can scream 'Help! Help!' 30% louder than a non-government agent?" :-) |

Emma Peel was seldom a DiD as her civilian scientist -- until she changed into her "Skulking-around" outfit: The black leather catsuit in the earlier episodes, and the Track suits in later seasons. Other favorite of mine: Shawn Weatherly in "Party Line" (1988): Dressed conservatively throughout as an assistant D.A., she sets herself as nightclub-bait in a HOT red strapless minidress that displays her former Miss Universe figure. The sort of bait that no psycho creep (or "normal" Brian's Pager) could resist. Heather Locklear in T.J. Hooker ("Trackdown"). For her first B&g scene, Stacy Sheridan is volunteered to go undercover looking as typical Southern California blonde who has to depend on a waitress' tips to earn a living: Red sleeveless blouse, black above-the-knee skirt, and flattering hairstyle change from the previous scene. Stepfanie Kramer in Hunter "Avenging Angel". Most of time, DeeDee McCall was seen in the sensible outfits that an L.A. homicide sergeant whose work regularly takes her in the dubious parts of the city would wear (and could afford). But for her first B&g scene, she's was off-duty and preparing for a evening on the town dressed to the nines. Just too bad that guest star (Nancy Stafford, as a news reporter) wasn't also targeted. |

(anyone have that remark for a post on the video page?) I agree, the gag was totally unnecessary, as has been observed previously on this page, but very much appreciated. Kind of the opposite of the missed opportunity, like when our heroine was bound spread eagle in a jail cell, left ungagged with her belt in place. What a scene that would have been had the fools, stripped her of the belt and left her hogtied AND gagged on the floor. Looking forward to the series airing. |

The point of it was that the one henchman was basically in the dark as to what was really going on and she was asking too many questions. |

This fits in with my memory of the scene. The gag is for silence, and the reason for the silence isn't always to prevent the gagged person for summoning help.Think of "The Starships Are Coming" where Diana is gagged for no reason other than she said something the head bad guy didn't want to hear. |
