Lin is snatched by the dragon emperor (in dragon form) at a little after the 1 hour 19 minute mark. (at least in my iTunes copy) She is dropped off and grabbed by goons at about the 1 hour 22 minute mark. A little after the 1:26:30 mark her love interest knocks out a guard and finds her bound and gagged in a tent. He sets her free. A very, very short scene. It's too bad too. She spends most of the movie bragging about what a badass she is, so it's kind of cute she ends up needing rescuing. Could have been so much better.

"Please Don't Gag Me"
Are there any good scenes where, right before being gagged, the damsel says something to the effect of "Please don't gag me" or "I'll stay quiet" before having the gag put on? I know of the Terminator and Red scenes, but not much else.

Chandler and Co. "End of Term"
The Rockford Files "Pursuit of Carol Thorne"

are two more that come to mind.

Two that come to mind are:

In "Fever" (DB # 209) when Marcia Gay Harden's abductors are re-gagging her, with a enormous gag (a towel or sponge behind a bandanna) she pleads something like "please don't put that thing back in my mouth. I can't breathe with it on."

In "Do U Like 2 Watch" (DB # 10,491), there is a scene that starts off as a consensual encounter in a "Big Brother" like house where everything is broadcast. The seducer/psycho handcuffs the damsel (Sadie LeBlanc, gorgeous, and wearing only lacy underthings and black stockings) to the bed's headboard and then takes a thin cloth and puts it in front of her mouth for her to bite down on. She starts off refusing, "No, no, I'll do the cuffs but I won't do the gag." He tells her how hot she makes him and she quickly relents, opens her mouth and accepts the gag, which the baddie ties off behind her head. Then he leaves her struggling on the bed and starts mayheming around the house.

I'll try to think of others, but there aren't many, at least in mainstream scenes.

Scene of the Year
Now that 2013 is almost over, what was the best scene? Republic of Doyle is one candidate

It gets my vote. Rarely has a scene that brief been so well set up and performed. A little gem.

Thirded! And just a relief to see a scene that's got comic intent and not a woman who ends up brutally murdered!

Revenge
Nothing on Revenge last night but some good news. ABC will run 3 more episodes on Jan. 5, 12 and 19 before the hiatus until March 9. Good chance the Emily van Camp gag scene could pop in January if its going to happen.

Re: Santa Diabla
Does anyone out there know the name of the middle aged lady that Santa grabbed last week on Santa Diabla? I was trying to add the scene to the database, but I forgot the name of the actress. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for reading my post.

My vote: Rookie Blue 4.01 'Surprises'

Consolation Prize: Crossing Lines 1.01 'Pilot'

Best Movie Scene: Haunter

In the movie Lone Star State of Mind, Jamie King admonishes her boyfriend, "Don't you dare!", just before she is gagged with duct tape.

I go with Once Upon a Time: Dark Hollow

The recent "Scandal" scene with the "duct tape bikini". Granted, the (off screen) torture and blood was nasty, but it had all the other elements that are a hallmark of damsel in distress scenes: Convincing bondage (including the gag), cuteness of the damsel while bound, nice sounding audible protesting, an escape attempt that fails, and the damsel doesn't die at the end.

Re: Scene of the Year
I think 2012 had much better scenes all round, but for this year's movie pick I can't decide between Haunter, Texas Chainsaw or Chastity Bites. For TV scenes I'll go with either Wilsberg episode 37, or Pis Yedili episode 82. Then again, I don't disagree with those who picked Republic Of Doyle S04E06 or Rookie Blue S04E01; both great scenes & surefire candidates.

Linda Evans in Dynasty ("The Close Call"), during the multi-episode of "Krystle in the attic" storyline.

She pleads with George Hamilton not to re-gag her, along the lines of "...I can't breathe!".

So maybe that's why this time he used a black-cleave, rather than the white tape of an earlier episode...

Man, how could I forget about this one. Definitely in my top 2. Sorry, Crossing Lines! You're gone.

Scene of the year 2013
My choice for scene of the year is Patricia Garza's black tape gag scene in Amar del Nuevo. Overall counting foreign scenes I'd go with the scene in Two Weeks, the Korean mini-series.
