| Recently, we've started to have messages that have the Title and Name, but no actual text. It seemed pretty random, and there wasn't anything obvious. Today, one of the posts caught in Moderation exhibits the problem, and it's repeatable. I will be investigating. Timing wise, it seems rather coincident with the other two problems, so it is likely a result of whatever the hosting company did. Unfortunately, it's not something specific that I can tell them at this point. If it happens to one yours, don't just repeat the same message. It will probably happen again. Until I isolate the cause, we'll have to work around it. |

| I did some fault isolation this afternoon, instead of reading my online comic strips. For the message that was captured in the Moderation queue, it is the result of using an actual apostrophe versus a single quote in words like "don't". Again, character set kind of thing. For now, any message with that problem will go to Moderation, and will get fixed and posted. That will give me time to dive into the code and see if I can figure out exactly what's causing this. So save yourself time for now and use ' in words. I'm not at all sure this is the only thing that will cause the problem. Real double quotes versus " probably. If we get others I'll see what I can figure. |
