Caught me by surprise. A bride is kidnapped and tied to a bed and thickly cleave gagged. Nice mmphhing before being ungagged. Not sure if it will somewhat continue into Monday as her kidnapper frees her by the end of the episode. Might be a trick. But, the damsel was very cute. Oh and in the preview of Ouija (released this Friday), a woman's mouth is sewed shut with a possessed spool of dental floss. |

This was a good chloro moment, but unfortunately, would fall into the category of "missed opportunities." Funny that, even though I recalled the episode - vaguely - didn't remember this chloroform scene at all. Guess back then, I didn't realize that this could have led to a great scene... teach me to have been a twerpy little kid back then. A few other quick takes on old scenes recently televised & viewed, for anyone interested: Movie Greyeagle had a nice, but quick, gagging of Lana Wood. Movie Broadway Danny Rose had a really great, but unusual face to face - (I've always wondered why this unique positioning isn't seen much more frequently) - tieing featuring Mia Farrow. Unfortunately, it was to Woody Allen - ugh! The first part, with them lying on a table, also unfortunately had Allen on top... but when they make it to standing up, there was some nice shots of them face to face - with lots of rope - wriggling, and also, some great footage of Mia Farrow's seriously tied hands (bound behind her back). Finally, episode Dragnet with the hogtied blonde body. Especially for the 1960's, that had to be considered a very "spicy" & controversial scene to be shown on mainstream television. In addition to that Dragnet movie, appears someone associated with Dragnet had a real affinity for bondage - maybe even head honcho Jack Webb (??). |

Sunday October 19 10:12:56 2014 BDSM references in mainstream media |
The Bones episode "The Purging of the Pundit" was about (SPOILERS) a submissive guy (the victim of the episode) who was killed in a sex dungeon. There are no bondage scenes of him in the episode, don't worry. I felt mentioning this episode because, although it deals with a putz, it had some interesting discussions on BDSM which we don't hear very often in mainstream media. Bones and Booth were talking about power in sex and even teased each other about it. There were many references to bondage paraphernalia and a cute scene with Michaela Conlin trying to depict a ballgag on a 3D presentation of the victim (again, it's about a guy being gagged, but I loved the playful nature of the scene). Of course, there were some groan-inducing references to 50 Shades of Grey. *groan* Speaking of which, Mara Wilson (the Matilda star who is now an author) had a feud with E.L. James on Twitter a couple of months ago. Wilson heavily criticized the books, suggesting that fans of the book read Abigail Barnette's "The Boss" series instead ("It's got more sexy stuff than 50 Shades of Grey, and none of the emotional manipulation and terrible prose"). She said that James couldn't be bothered to read the BDSM article on Wikipedia. Ouch! |

Sunday October 19 14:59:49 2014 Erin Richards |
I think it's inevitable that Erin Richards who plays Barbara will get a scene from the show Gotham. She plays the fiancee of the main character on the show. |

I hope so but I just have a vibe that this show will deliver absolutely nothing even though it seems like it should be a great vehicle. |

They already had a full treatment scene for a (rather cute) guy in one of the first episodes, so I can't imagine we'll get through the whole show without any women getting tied up. Especially with all the killers and mobsters in the cast. |

These caps from the season promo prove that we'll get something - but the question remains as to whether it'll be worth the wait. |

To recap the details, the superhero catches a car thief in the act with his female sidekick while trick or treating. The thug then grabs the superhero as they go to commercial. Back at the headquarters, the thug appears on a computer screen where he shows the superhero, then the damsel, tape-gagged. These shots are very up close and not that great. Few minutes later, scene resumes at the thug's hideout. This is where we get some nice shots of the damsel tape-gagged. Gag is removed quickly but she remains tied up for a few minutes before rescue. |
