The Rookies
Just found a showing for a long-lost gem while scanning the up-coming listings. The "Time is the Fire" episode of "The Rookies" is scheduled to be shown on the Grit channel on Monday, the 20th. One of the best, and lengthiest, cleave gag scenes from the 70s.

Agreed, this was/is one of my favorites as well.

However, as noted in the Scene Database, "Sometimes the school scene, where she sits gagged in the front row while her kidnapper performs a vaudeville act, is cut from reruns."

Still, another scene with the re-gagging line "...chicks should be seen, and not heard" is one of the things that made this one of the 1970s best.

I'd never even heard let alone seen this one before today, so I looked it up on the tube and lo and behold - truly a great scene. American TV has so little of this caliber scene these days, it's a good thing it's easy to maintain an eye on the international media sources. Thanks for bringing it to our attention.

I agree with you. the scene with Nikki was so much better. she was tied with actual rope and not some Velcro. And Nikki is also so much better looking

The Maze Runner
Brief scene for former Skins star Kaya Scodalario in this teen movie, tied hands above head to a post at the 90m mark. Details in DB (not that there's much more to be said)

What's not to like? Attractive blonde damsel. Check. Lynne Marta played the "babe" in dozens of TV episodes in the 1970s-1980s.

Kidnapped in the opening scene, Seen B&g'd in the next scene, and remains gagged (with only a brief ungagging, then onscreen re-gagging) until the end scene.

And her evil captor isn't some run-of-the-mill actor, it's veteran actor William Windom. Gotta agree with the IMDB reviewer whose opinion was that Windom gave the most riveting, nuanced performance of the Star Trek: The Original Series in "The Doomsday Device", as the obsessed, growingly-insane Commodore Decker (it's not easy for a sci-fi episode to continue to build suspense, when your budget apparently requires you to use a suspended flashlight as a monstrous planet-killing robot machine).
