I missed that. She's definitely top five on mine, with consideration for number one. I'm going to try to check it out On Demand later today. I did read a recap indicating she later got strapped to a gurney, so that's good, but there was no indication of a gag. Guess we'll know soon. |

Just caught it on On Demand. Here's the deal: no gag, sadly. With that said, I'm about as big a gag snob as it gets, and it's still a pretty good scene. After being strapped into the wheelchair, we see Abbie (Nicole Beharie) strapped to a gurney with leather restraints, sitting up a bit, as the evil nurse tells a story and then attempts to force-feed her pills. She's rescued in the nick of time. The scene goes on for several minutes, we get lots of good shots of her restrained, and if you'll forgive my being crude for a moment, her impressive cleavage looks amazing in the scene. (Tight, low-cut T-shirt under a jacket that's spread open pretty well.) A gag would have made it amazing, but it's still pretty nice and a good sign that the show might get her in similar situations in the future. I know the ratings are down a bit this season; let's hope they're decent enough to earn a renewal. |
