| The female metal band Conquer Divide's new video (for the song At War) features all the band members gagged with black tape. The band are all good looking, but it's edited in that music video way, with cut every half second. No bonds are visible, and indeed the band play their instruments throughout the video. I also started off with clips from Raffish, Anubis, Kerhop, G-Mman, etc. But for me, re-discovering old scenes in HD has the effect of taking on new life. There's been many occasions where I've disregarded a scene based on its low video quality, but suddenly become a fan of it when all the details are on show with pin-sharp HD or even SD (eg. Terror Among Us). I very much anticipate the same happening with these Batman scenes; I've always appreciated their place in DiD history, but never to fandom levels. Seeing them in THAT kinda quality might make me change my mind. |
