arrow details
If you check for black canary photos for arrow coming up, there's one with her tied by many ropes, like lori loghlin in birds of prey,

what are some scenes where a damsel references being bound and gagged after being rescued? something along the lines of "they kept me bound and gagged" or "i was tied up for days with tape over my mouth", etc.

Arrow: Season 2 Episode 4 pics
Some stills from an upcoming episode of 'Arrow.' Could be interesting. Personally, I don't understand the point of tying up Black Canary if she isn't gagged, but whatever . . .

This is the first time you meet her in the show. So obviously he doesn't know about her supersonic scream etc, so why would he?
He's not trying to take her captive, lol. He probably wants to know who she is and what she's up to, at this point.

The scene that comes to mind for me actually features a male villain. This scene occurred in the movie Bad Love. The villain, Tom Sizemore, ties Pamela Gidley to a chair and orders her to open her mouth; she does, and he proceeds to gag her with a cloth tied between her teeth. Jennifer O'Neill has already been bound and gagged.

In a recent Scooby Doo cartoon series, Daphne reminds Shaggy that she was gagged while recounting one of her numerous experiences as a bound and gagged captive.

I believe Josie Bissett talked about this in the scene on Melrose Place where she mentioned being bound and gagged.

In case any one was wondering, that was from the "What's New Scooby-Doo?" episode "Big Scare in the Big Easy."

Arrow is more grounded than most superhero shows, with no overt superpower on display, so it is highly unlikely she will have her scream, unless it is technological (and even then, a gag wouldn't make much difference).

Speaking of superhero stuff...

Has anyone seen "The Superhero Squad Show"? It's an animated show for kids, but it has a Garfield & Friends-type self awareness to it's own absurdity for adults too. Season 2: The Infinity Gauntlet has a cluster of scenes.

In "World War Witch", the Scarlet Witch time travels to World War II and goes up against the Red Skull, who promptly ties her hands behind her and then ties her to a missle. Lots of struggling.

In "Support Your Sky-Father", Sue Storm gets gets put asleep by Loki and then is found with her hands tied behind her.

In "1602", Scarlet Witch once again time travels, but this time to the witch trials. She is immediately manacled up to her trial and then tied to a chair on a catapult before a lake. I'm guessing the writers visit this site, because she excessively tied with rope, lol. The 1602-version of Ms. Marvel is left behind a shed in stocks and OTM gagged (with putz Thor). Lots of struggling.

The series is peppered with little stuff with mummy hand-gags and futuristic gags there, from what little stuff I've seen so far.

All in all, great stuff!

100 Bloody Acres
Tempted to edit this because Anna McGahan is quite the hot stuff, but for anyone who's sat thru the flick--just how gory are we talking about? I did an extremely quick skim-thru & it seems like she's bound for at least 1hr of the whole thing, in amongst lots of putzes bloodied up. So.....for someone who could barely stomach Jessica Stroup getting her ankle slashed open on Homecoming, what kindsa nastiness can I expect to have to endure on this one? :-P

Technically, Sizemore and Gidley are both villains, as Gidley is secretly partners with Sizemore in the robbery, which also makes it interesting that she's willingly being bound and gagged to "sell" that she's also a victim in the crime.

Not a female villain, but Robert Wagner tells Julie Newmar "open" before tying a scarf in her mouth.

Yes, they are both the villains, technically speaking. He is her lowlife boyfriend. He makes her bind and gag Jennifer O'Neill, her employer, then binds and gags her himself.
The female confederate of a villain pretending to be a crime victim by letting herself be bound and gagged is actually a fairly common plot device in movies and television. Remember the Batman episode featuring Bookworm? He left his moll bound and gagged in a bookmobile for Batman and Robin to discover. She then proceeded to help Bookworm capture Robin.

Was looking for something actually not at all bondage-related when I came across these, to my complete shock. Don't know what the story is behind these interesting shots but I now have new computer screen wallpaper. Sorry, gag snobs, but I guess you could do some careful photoshopping.

Given that they are introducing the Flash this season on the show, I think anything in the future is possible...
