Tuesday October 08 01:04:33 2013 Scene help - this is a real long shot (moved from The Video Page) |
Hi all I'm trying to find/remember a scene from when I was youngster - a good 25/30 years ago. It was one of the first scenes I remember seeing - problem is I can barely remember that much about it and sure as hell can't remember the name. It involved a middle-aged woman, not particularly attractive mind, tied to a chair and OTM gagged with a scarf. The scarf I believe was tied triangle-style (so a triangle rather than a straight folded band if you get my drift). When her gag was pulled down, it showed I think a couple of tissues had been stuffed in her mouth as they were in the scarf when it was hanging round her neck. I can't remember how she was tied but I think it was hands behind back and maybe more body to the chair with rope. One final thing - I think (although am not sure) it was a kids TV show. It was shown on British TV. That's all I've got. Told you it's a tough one :) Any ideas? |

It was pretty good. It starred Kim Thomson, who was in that scene, and Nicholas Clay and it was called Virtual Murder. |

Tuesday October 08 06:54:49 2013 The Call |
I watched this movie earlier tonight, and the villain has to be the stupidest, most inept kidnapper in the history of cinema. Did the fool ever heard of rope and duct tape? Had he taken a few minutes to bind and gag Abigail Breslin after incapacitating her with chloroform, his abduction of her would've gone smoothly. She wouldn't have been able to alert anyone to her predicament had she been bound and gagged in the trunk of his car. Furthermore, he LET HER KEEP HER CELLPHONE! He left his victim with the complete, unrestricted use of her hands and mouth, AND a means of contacting the outside world! |

Although the scenes are great and Kim Thomson's quite the looker isn't she? :) |

Tuesday October 08 17:45:51 2013 The Wrong Mans |
This BBC Comedy Thriller is turning in to an awful putzfest but with one redeemimg feature. Emilia Fox of Silent Witness fame was rescued from the back of a van in tonights episode. Two reasonable close up shots of her gagged before one of our heroes ungagged her |

Tuesday October 08 18:36:40 2013 Cut! |
The film "Cut!" is supposed to be released in January. Definitely contains a cleave gag scene with Gabrielle Stone (Dee Wallace Stone's daughter) and there are pics out there of another lady cleave gagged, too (maybe Rosie Garcia, but not sure). Hoping that is supposed to be Dahlia Salem on the poster. Yum. |

"Curse of Chucky", "The Purge", "4Closed" (the renaming of Lifetime's Foreclosed - nothing on the 'gag' reel though) and "The Penny Dreadful Picture Show" (has a DID with her AOH on the back cover). If you guys are thirsty for some more, "Bloody Homecoming" has the heroine tied to a chair with her arms at her sides. Loving October, as Vanished and Solo gets released next. |

> Interesting forum topic "Hey, r/theatre! So, I'm playing Hope in Urinetown real soon, and today was my first day using the dreaded gag. It's almost identical to the one in the linked picture, a strip of fabric that goes through my teeth. The problem is... drool. Yeah. Anyone out there have any advice to help slow the "soaking the rag in drool" process?" |
