Guizar Description: Mexican movie from 1991, in which three damsels share the scene. The first girl in trouble is Luisa (Ana Cortez), who gets kidnapped by a gang of country thugs. She is kept in a cabin, sitting on the floor, hands tied behind her back and cleave gagged with a red bandanna. A guy gets in, ungags, unties her and tries to make a rescue, but with no avail. Later Violeta (Colombian actress Diana Golden) who is on to the kidnappers, volunteers to rescue Luisa. At night, when the thugs are sleeping, she approaches the restrained and gagged Luisa, but gets caught while trying to release her. The third damsel is Fernanda (Luz María Guizar), the male lead's wife in the movie. A guy who is friends with the male lead is guarding her, but the main thug gets to them anyway, beats the guy up and kidnaps the woman. Finally, we see the three girls together, kept in the cabin, sitting on the floor; all of them have their hands tied behind their backs and cleave gagged (Cortez and Guizar with red bandannas while Golden is gagged with a grey bandanna). Excellent close ups of Golden's face, as she tries to untie her hands. She succeeds and plays possum as the main thug gets in to take the captives away. When he is distracted, Golden removes her gag (which keeps hanging from her neck) and tries to get the thug's rifle. Golden gets shot while struggling with the thug. The other damsels helpessly watch the scene, but at the end they get rescued, while Golden is not seen again. |

| The villain of the series decides to go to far with an associate of the Albanian Mob. The Albanian Mob sends two head goon resolvers who spend the entire episode going through all current and former associates of the villain for his whereabouts including Jessika Van's Hina who they make her sit on a chair till she says something or else. That's it. |

| Cameron Diaz in A Life Less Ordinary. That movie is more or less a Comedy (albeit a strange and unusual one). Cameron's scene in it is an all-time keeper. Imagine my surprise and delight when I had it playing on cable back then and her scene came up. |

Forgive me for fixing alludes/eludes. I can't help myself. Dyan Cannon was a honey in the sixties who became a fairly big movie star in the seventies. Despite continuing to appear in lots of roles through the eighties all the way up through now, her one FT scene is in a weird low-budget 1998 flick called The Sender -- at age 61. (Probably 60 when filmed.) And she still looked pretty good! I'll also note the breathtaking Jeanne Tripplehorn, who avoided anything for years... but finally got a brief FT scene in Criminal Minds in 2023, just shy of her 50th birthday. And she looked great! Finally, Gloria Reuben's extended scene on Mr. Robot rocked. Loved her back in the day on ER, and by my math, the biracial beauty would have been about 52/53 in that Mr. Robot scene over two episodes. Tons of closeups, a bit of gagtalk, a nice moderately thick cleave gag...really nice. And she showed little sign of aging as well. Now we just need some love from Michelle Yeoh. And Angela Bassett. And Rene Russo. And I know we had a few decent tape scenes with Dana Delany a decade ago, but she still looks ridiculously good at 67, and I'd love to see her sporting a cleave. (Yeah, she got one in that eighties TV movie, but all we have from that is a brief, grainy clip). |

| If it counts, Gina Gershon's Palmetto scene from back in 1998 is an absolute favorite of mine. Palmetto came out in February 1998 and Gina was probably around 35 during the shoot. |
