| Just finishing the book "Light It Up" by Nick Petrie, one in a series about an Iraqi war veteran named Peter Ash. Very similar to the Jack Reacher series. The books I've read so far are not as good as the best Reacher novels, but better than many of the recent ones. Anyway, the hero's sweetheart gets kidnapped by the bad guys and eventually awakens in a car trunk, bound and gagged with duct tape. She has what appears to be a pen in the hip pocket of her jeans, but it actually houses a small knife. A couple of pages are spent on her getting it out, cutting, losing the knife, locating it again, and eventually freeing herself. Who knows, maybe it'll be a film or TV show someday. |

| Don't think anyone has posted about this forthcoming film. Directed by Ethan Coen "Drive Away Dolls" has the two female leads Margaret Qualley and Geraldine Viswanathan tied to chairs and cleave gagged. Saw the trailer last night at my local cineworld with the 'coming soon' tag. Did some digging and it's out September 22nd in the UK. Go to IMDB for the same trailer if you wanna see it. |

| No trailer as yet. Film has its premiere this Friday at Montreal's Fantasia genre film festival. So if any of our Canadian friends, or even one of "us" that happens to be currently holidaying in that fair city is able to attend a screening...feel free to give us a review. It's been quite a while since a north American mainstream film has given us an extended f/t scene(s), maybe not since "Greta" or "Tau". By extended I mean over 10mins or more of the total running time. This thriller could be one of those, with 3(!) damsels simultaneously getting the full. Really hope it pans out as promised, and someone is able to see it on our behalf. If I win lotto this week I'll be on the first available flight ;) |

| I don't know if anyone follows this Netflix animated series, but its fifth season dropped on Sunday, and in the 8th episode, Rayla, the main female character, is bound & gagged by pirates. |

Punk Magazine’s Mutant Monster Beach Party, 1978: in two other images they both appear to be tied (by a biker gang) and Ramone is trying to rescue her. |
