This is a really interesting question. I have some nominees that come to my mind. No way to know what they're actually thinking of course but here are some wild guesses.

One is Linda Evans in Big Valley, tied next to the much younger Jeanne Cooper. I always felt in this scene that Linda as an actress felt like she'd outgrown the damsel in distress role and that she should have something else to do in the scene that just sit there helpless.

Another is Nicole Eggert in Baywatch, who looks painfully bored as the villainess taunts her. I think she felt like she should have had lines and that sitting there with a cloth in her mouth was not what she wanted to do.

Suzanne Somers in She's The Sheriff. She does this ridiculous over-the-top and unfunny comedy bit when she's rescued. This could be to cover for the actual humiliation in the scene and try to remind the audience that it's all just a joke and she's in on it.

Susan St. James in MacMillan and Wife when the phone receiver falls off the table. That wasn't scripted. She's visibly annoyed at how helpless she is.

Damsels Remain Gagged After Rescue
I know that this has been posted in the past but I'm looking to update my collection. I'm looking for scenes where the damsel gets rescued but the rescuer does not ungag the damsel immediately. Instead he takes his time, maybe teasing her, making the damsel mmmmph/gag-talk to get ungagged. So far I have these in my list:

Ann-Kathrin Kramer in Die Nonne Und Der Kommissar Verflucht
Ann Ceurvels in Flikken S04E08
Charlotte Valandrey in Les Cordier, juge et flic - Rangee de voitures
Jeanne Savary in Nestor Burma
Camila Demaman in Cumplices de um Resgate Episodes 30-31
Joanna Lumley in Class Act
Cheryl Ladd in One West Waikiki S02E03

Any others you can think of?

Wasn't Jean Peters in such a situation on Hawaii 5-0. AS a snoopy reporter who was grabbed, bound and gagged, when Magerret comes in he doesn't untie her until he gives her a lecture

Indeed.
Had skipped that jewell of a scene when pondering about the subject matter. Hard to think that, acompared to her distress partner, Linda was just acting/pretending as required for such situation, and didn't add things of her own that came up pretty instinctively and naturally. Just look so submisive and erotic

(Replace and end previous one that got accidentally in)

Indeed.
Had skipped that jewel of a scene when pondering about
the subject matter. Hard to think that, compared to her
distress junior partner, Linda was just acting/pretending as
required for such situation without reaching something
else. And didn't add things of her own that came up
pretty instinctively/naturally. Just look so damned lost,
abandoned, and erotically submissive to be just mere
professional business.
Unless she's the cream of screen DID pretender ever
seen...

I had a major crush on her for a long time, even joining a fan club at one point. (Don't tell anyone, lol.) She had a terrific scene on an episode of "Cannon," with a snug cloth OTM. She did a great job of selling the scene, with her wide eyes accentuated by her gag, and her arms were behind too, helping with the realism. Joining the soaps didn't have to mean that her DiD days were over, but unfortunately in her case it did. :(

LOL, might be the scene of the year ironically. Such a shame they made it a running joke. Had it just been Cyrils two ex's they coulda played on that.

IIRC Y & R was the first soap to quit crime capers and show nothing but relationship crap, with an occasional business deal. Neither of which was fertile DiD land!

I can think of a comic in which this occurred. In an issue of Cracked magazine during the Seventies or Eighties, the smoking hot reporter, Nanny Dickering, spent the entirety of the story bound and gagged with tape. She was finally rescued by her fellow Cracked characters but was left bound and gagged. She had a look of chagrin on her countenance in the last panel, with an eye roll, in the last panel of the story. It was visible through her gag. She wore the bright green minidress she always wears throughout her captivity.

Do you know the number of issue or where can I find it online?

Indaba scenes (see database)
Does anyone on this boards remember ever seeing those mysterious and most elusive ones ? I do mean seen with his own eyes, and sure it's from that 90's French show. Not just heard of or whatever...

Complete mystery so far, and pretty sure it has never ever resurface since online DID vids emerged in the early 2000's.
None can be found in the bunch of Brent Smith's Chivalry videotapes I still possess (though might be in some others), while many other M6 programs and shows can be found within...most intriguing.

Wondering more and more if those database entries might not be pure legends or mistakes, and whether those two really exist...

I Escaped from the Gestapo
Just watched a movie called I Escaped from the Gestapo. Only saw the last few minutes but it had a scene with some actress along with a Putz, bound and gagged with a bomb set to go off. I don't recognize the actress and there is no record in the Data base on it. Anyone have a clue as to who she is

The Equalizer 3
A heads up there's nothing at all bondage-wise in this for anyone who was wondering. Still an entertaining movie and I'd recommend it, a worthy series finale.

Alright, made a trip back in time using the video page query, and didn't remember a guy had found a link on Vk containing some episodes 2 years ago. Couldn't access them back then (Uzbekistan dude's account), but now it works. By outrageous luck, the first episode listed in database ("L'Arc et la Flèche" translated from Uzbek) is there ! And not a single scene in it...browsed the others and nothing in there as well.

Smells pretty bad...as the second entry's episode title appears to be non existant (no trace of "La Maison sur la Colline" on detailed episode listings and INA program files over here in France). Could always be mistake accumulation in entries with the scenes really there in other episodes, but becomes more and more suspect.

Will soon go to INA (French TV archives body) in order to solve this endless hunt once and for all. Know the whole series' available and watchable over there. There's no other way.
