In a brief scene that lasts about seven seconds, you can see curly-haired blonde Natoli and brunette Lepore seated on chairs hands behind, brown packing tape around their upper bodies and legs and tightly cleave-gagged with thin red patterned scarves. Both are in blue uniforms with jackets and skirts. Loud moaning. Nice but brief. Tags: outfit_uniform, bonddesc_chair, bonddesc_handsbehind, restraint_tape, gagtype_cleave, country_it |

(Well, the > script mandated it, to aid their eventual escape.) Tricky and fascinating topic indeed...how can you be sure the actress is totally pretending/acting, or not really in a scene. Of course the job is to act and pretend, but nevertheless conveying some true colors to it. Tend to think that a good screen damsel will somehow give herself to the situation, and that part of her is, in some way, attracted to and really likes to fathom/feel that submissive and helpless situation. And let's not forget that some women don't mind, or even like being tied up and gagged... Regarding examples, not too familiar with those two scenes already mentioned and will have to take a closer look. But there's an overlooked vintage French brief "scene" that is epitome to me in that genre, though you won't see the damsels B&G onscreen, in 80's mini-series "La Nouvelle Malle des Indes" E03 (see database). At the end, right after one of the two lovelies tells the two guys "Don't worry darlings, everything's been planned : before leaving you'll bind and gag us, so that we won't be suspected", she goes to her bed saying "let's go, I'll be first, hop!", then stretches her arms and hands out with that enchanting mix of troubled/subdued/helpless/surrendering but turned on look on her face, still chating, while one of the man starts tying her hands in front...then it criminally cuts and the scene ends (the bastards...). Always wondered how much of acting and pretending there was here by the actresses (and those two lucky dudes as well by the way), cause to me she really seems not faking it or over acting at all...very low key and natural way indeed. However will always remain pretty subjective in the end. but I'm sure we could find many other examples... |

I was also a big fan of Jess Walton early in her movie career. Her getting gagged in the hippie/biker crapfest "The Peacekillers" is about the best gagging scene I have seen in over 60 years! I thought surely Ms. Walton was a sure bet for a b/g Hall of Fame career. Unfortunately - for us - she entered into soap opera land, this ended that possibility. |

This episode of Wonder Woman comes to mind. Lynda Carter, who has been bound and gagged by the dastardly villain, is on the verge of rescue. Unfortunately, her would-be rescuer is a bumbling oaf. Instead of removing her gag, he initially attempts to untie her ankles and fumbles with the knots. She makes noises through her gag in an attempt to get him to remove it from her mouth, but he is utterly obtuse to her gag talk. As he continues his maladroit attempt to free her, she sighs resignedly into her gag and rolls her eyes, visibly embarrassed at being rescued by such a buffoon. I don't remember how she eventually got free. Title: Wonder Woman Medium: TV Series Actress: Lynda Carter Description: Episode: "The Starships Are Coming" (3.15) Lynda is captured by a group of men who plan to detonate a bomb in a warehouse. At 35mins (2015 iTunes release), they tie her to a chair with white rope; hands to armrests, feet together. She tries some backchat to get them to see sense, but the head villain does not appreciate her remarks. He angrily orders one of his goons to "Put a gag in her mouth!", but decides to do it himself by cleave gagging her with a thick black scarf; a vivid close-up shows the cloth being tied nice and tight between her lips. Naturally, a time bomb is rigged to go off on a table in front of her, but All Lynda can do is stare at it helplessly and squirm around in the chair. Help arrives (sort of) in the form of Henry, a well-meaning klutz, who wanders into the warehouse and hears Lynda mmpphhing. He rushes over to her and begins untying the ropes, but she desperately tries to alert him (via gag-talk) to the issue of the bomb across from them. Rather than ungag her, he leaves her as she is and gets to work on diffusing the bomb. All the while, Lynda can only look on with some of the most priceless expressions imaginable. The bomb is eventually disarmed, so Henry unties her (she ungags herself) at 39mins. In a nice visual touch, Lynda holds the scarf in her hands for a short while until throwing it away and turning into Wonder Woman. |

Thank you so much! Love the brunette in this scene. She really made the most out of the little bit of bound and gagged screen time she had! |
