Streaming (2025) - Ha Seo Yoom
I found this promotional still (and uploaded in to IMDb) of Ha Seo Yoon chairtied and cleave gagged for the Korean thriller flick, Streaming.

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt26762096/mediaviewer/rm3789536258?ref_=ext_shr_lnk

I found the movie in low quality online and she does spend a good chunk of the movie in this predicament with some good struggling.

I'd like to but I don't know when. As I mentioned before I likely won't have much time to make edits going forward and will just be alerting to scenes I find.

The Gag Talk Gradient
In the many media portrayals of damsels tied and silenced we have seen gags play a lot of functions.

The common denominator is always a visual indication that our damsel is being silenced, sometimes this take the form of what would clearly be insufficient to actually silence someone but remains as a visual shorthand

What I am interested in is the gradient of expression and how we categorize types of gags by their effect

We have damsels who are being muffled in a purely symbolic ways, such as a thin cleave that allows speech but is either narrative shorthand or just a gesture on the part of the captor to "shut up", how do you differentiate these?

What are examples of good gagtalk that is clearly fake vs real muffled speech?

I'd like to explore our favorite examples of
Different types of "mmmph. The feisty damsel who continues to try to talk, examples of a damsel who's speech is coherent enough either due to the gag or sheer emphasis.

I'd like to explore damsels who try to Coventry communicate vs types of verbalizations that are purely reflexive or emotive

For instance, trying to "negotiate" vs angry grunts, attempts as screaming, petulant bratty whining, feminine gag talk trying to elicit sympathy, scared whining, or better yet an example of multiple types of vocalizations.

Also interested in "pre gag" and "post gag vocalizations, for instance a whine or whimper, or a breath/ panting after being ungagged

Victoria Abril in "Tie Me Up! Tie Me Down! (1989) comes to mind. Other than getting beat up while trying to buy her drugs (not being a street-wise captor), it has a romance-novel ending:

* B-actress damsel falls in love with her captor, and is agreeable with his planned future for her.
* He remains enamored with her.
* Even her sister gives her approval for their match, as he drives them to his family's farm where he hopes to raise a family with her ("Let's not tell mother about the kidnapping...")

Cleave gags AND CM Punk?! Do we have an all-timer on our hands?

Lifetime Tonight: Little Girl in The Woods (2025)
Lifetime continues their summer hot streak and delivers another full treatment scene in tonight's premiere. This one is about a group of friends that get stuck in a snow storm hiking and stumble upon a cabin where they rescue a girl who was being held there.

The scene takes place in the last 30 minutes when one of the woman of the group, Bea (who I believe is played by Amy Trefry) gets injured and is left behind in the woods while others go get help. The villainous woodsman of the movie finds her and drags her off before we cut to commercial. After commercial break, we see that he has her bound hands behind and cleave gagged with a blue bandana. She manages to work the gag off after a bit and begins to mouth off to him before he regags her and marches her off into the woods. We get a few sequences of her being marched bound and gagged in the woods before ultimately he leaves her out on a frozen lake bound and gagged to be used as bait for her friends. Eventually her friends do come to her rescue. Fans of damsels in jackets will like this one as she wears a pink/red puffer jacket.

Overall this is a decent scene compared to some of the recent lifetime scenes. Good bonds and a pretty good looking gag plus a feisty damsel. This one is definitely worth an edit so I'll try to find some time soon for it.

Superman
Sadly nothing at all DID-wise in the new Superman film for anyone curious, which was to be expected but still a bummer. One of the supporting female characters (portrayed by Sara Sampaio) is at one point detained but otherwise no bondage for any female characters at all. Still a surprisingly good and enjoyable movie and worth a watch, even with the burnout of so many comic book and superhero films as of late.

Sure am hoping we can get good duct tape gags for Rachel Brosnahan and Sara Sampaio in future projects of their's, as well as Jennifer Holland (who could potentially get something in Season 2 of Peacemaker).
