Paula (Laura Harring) in Sunset Beach was first kidnapped by bent cop Eddie, then some other psycho kidnaps her from his clutches. |

| Huge wasting opportunity for Eva Longoria in this movie. Around 1hr into the movie she is taken as a hostage and is kept in a van with another guy. They both have their hands bound behind their backs, before their captor leaves them in the van, the putz asks 'so you're not gonna gag me or put something in my mouth' and the captor is like 'not necessary....' Eva remaims bound with the guy for the next 15mins but no gags. What a waste honestly |

Record number: 1388 Title: Once a Thief Medium: TV Series Actress: Sandrine Holt Description: Episode: "Mac Daddy" (1.05) Holt is caught snooping in a lab by some bad guys at 32mins. When next seen at 34mins, a nice panning shot (up the length of her tight leggings) reveals that she is lying face-up on a gurney, hands bound in front with duct tape, ankles also taped. One of her captors gags her onscreen with a strip of duct tape just as she tries to say something, prompting a resigned mmpphh. He then loosely smooths the tape over her mouth, asks her something about her name, to which she mmpphhs "No!" At 35mins, her buddies show up before she is about to receive a fatal injection. They manage to stop the latter from happening, but nonetheless fail to rescue her. Holt constantly strains her neck to look around at what's going on, still gagged but not making a sound. More bad guys show up (they were about to be double-crossed by the original ones), who then pick her up from the gurney and carry her away OTS/over the shoulder; one of them even pats her on the ass as he does so. They dump her in the trunk of a car at 37mins, at which point a loooooooong shootout ensues. During this she is shown in the trunk a few times, mmpphhing and struggling to get free. She finally peels the tape off her mouth at 40mins, with an expression on her face indicating that it hurt a bit (even though the tape looked very loose earlier on). No other untaping is seen. Lighting is good, except for the trunk sequence, with lots of close-ups and full-body views. Holt wears a white jacket over a blue top, tight blue leggings, and blue/white sneakers. |

Even though he is the guy paying them, the boss decides to do away with the dumb teens and take Kim (Elisha) himself; maybe not too much a takeover as doing the job himself, but you don't see it often... |

That said, she is the queen at avoiding gags. Likely the only tied up babe in a van with no gag. |

The ending twist is that four of the women learn that the lesbian one orders them at gunpoint to re-cuff themselves in their original chains, and she's says apologetically, "I'm sorry, but just the thought of four beautiful women... at my command..." |

| Zilch bondage-wise in this for anyone who was curious (unless a putz being handcuffed counts). But still a good (if very long and bizarre) movie that's worth seeing. |
