| This was the subject of rampant discussion earlier, so please note this quote from a festival review (film opens Oct. 24): It's probably supposed to be grimly funny to watch Teddy send 400 volts of electricity coursing through the body of the bound-and-gagged Michelle [Stone], after putting on Green Day's "Basket Case," cranked up to 11 to drown out her screams. Lanthimos and ace cinematographer Robbie Ryan shoot the sequence discreetly, so you hear more than you see. Several caveats here: The latest trailer had a lot more footage but showed nothing. Her head's probably in its shaved state, since her captors appear to do that very early in her kidnapping. And you can see the note about above about "hear more than you see." Regardless, it's Emma getting yet another full-treatment scene, quite a run for the past few years, presuming the reviewer accurately used the "bound and gagged" phrasing. | They really are loath to show Emma bald aren't they? Never does actresses any favors let's face it. But, Emma certainly suffers for her art and seems willing to do anything as Lanthimos' Muse. The gag should be effective and it *should* be a big white tapegag. So Emma will have had the gag trifecta - cleave, ball and tape. Shame she never got anything 15 yrs ago but she's certainly making up for it these last few years. Still hoping there's a scene where she gets her head shaved while gagged so screencaps can be obtained of her while she has hair. We shall see. |

| Ah okay just watched the new trailer and there she is in all her bald glory....pretty harsh look. And looks like they shave her head while she's unconscious so no luck there. So it appears she'll just get the one f/t scene. While bald and being electrocuted. Charming. When are the last two episodes of Dias Perfeitos coming out again :/ |

| This article confirms Emma Stone is bound and gagged in the film whilst being electrocuted. There are no scenes in the new trailer but it does show a gag maybe hanging around her neck in a quick scene.
